With no other suggestions forthcoming, toots pulls out her lute, and begins to play in the hopes that:

1. Someone will back her up so she doesn’t feel like an idiot…
   and:
2. That it works….

OOC: sorry, work has been an assbear thos week.  But now I'm caught up, let's see.  No matter how much I hate phone posting.

Waiting for a time to see if music would soothe the savage beast, Ilyara mulled over her own options.  "Hnn...if it's just one critter, then I could maybe Banish it?  Or use my transformation spell t' make it somethin' benign for long enough for us t' get past?  Depends on whether it's one single big thing or, like...a whole colony of little things.  Can't really do spit 'bout that second one..." 

Tommary unslings his lute and shreds along with toots to kumbaya dunno if that technically costitutes help.

Tommary is somehow bent at the ankles so he and Toots can jam back to back through the Top Kumbaya Gun Anthem, "I don't think it's working...."

On the plus side it doesn't seem to be moving closer.

The glowing white ball with a tail of wispy vapor carves a hole into the pillar of green fungus. Where the sphere touches, the green mass evaporates. A large portion collapses like jingo blocks.

"We can hurt it!  Or you can hurt it.  I have like zero chill in my arsenal..."

“Well crap. Okay, I got this. Someone, hold my ale.” Toots starts to play faster and faster and faster, the music rises in a crescendo before she releases the spell empowered!

Toots casts chromatic orb for cold damage as a 4h-level spell (Attack: 25 Damage: 33). 🤞

Another frigid sphere darts down into the hole obliterating a large amount of the green fungus. The lit coin reveals an area that might be safe at the bottom but is surrounded by the green freezy mold.

Toots looks down the hole and assesses the situation. “Almost done.” She begins playing again and then lets loose another smaller crescendo.

Toots unleashes a 2nd-level chromatic orb. (Attack: 23 Damage: 17). 🤞

 Assuming that 11 for the attack roll would miss, a dark mysterious force spins fate in Toots’ favor as she is Favored by the Gods. (Add 5 to that attack roll.) 🤞🤞
