The ice in Toots' pack is starting to get heavy.

“Ohh…. The Otterpops! I haven’t cleaned up after them in a while! Let’s chuck their ice down on the thing!” Toots says as she unslings her pack and starts digging out ice poos.

Elyona shakes herself, realizing she's been lost in thought again.  "I could try the moon's power on it, but if you have ice, Toots, that's probably our best option at the moment." 

OOC:  Sorry for the long silence.  I have been watching, but transitioning to my new position has taken a lot of my energy. that and dealing with COVID quarantine in the midst of it.  Spouse got COVID just as his new job was starting....offspring and I had to quarantine but didn't get it.  Spouse had a mild case and is fully recovered, thankfully.

When the ice hits it, the green mold dissolves like fairy floss hit by water.

“Well, now that that’s done, tallboots, why don’cha head back down there and snoop around while I finish cleaning out my pack.” Toots collects any remaining ice for their waterskins, cleans out her pack and gives Star and Pipkin some snurgles. She then cleans out Mece’s pouch too and gives him some fresh food and water and plenty of affection while she waits for Tommary to report back what he finds.

Tommary the Unworthy sends the lines back into the cistern one handed.  One handed because his other hand holds a leather flask, with "XXX" branded on one side and "NPH" branded on the other.  Funny story how he got it.  Once the lines are sent back over, Tommary affixes the flask to one of his straps, grabs a line and "Wooooos" back down the shaft with a boots and gloves controlled drop to line's end.

Is the ridge still there for another flying leap?  How's Windbreaker reacting to recent turns of events?

 Sure it looks safe! Lucky thing there is no buzzing.

  Tommary enters the drink.

The water is neutral in temperature and the sludgy bottom is about 10 feet deep at the center. Tommary cannot really see much as the water is murky. The splashing sound has a muted echo and tall mushrooms overlook the scene. Your light does not extend enough to see the walls of the cave.

Tommary the Unworthy surfaces, and calls up "It's MURK-EEE!"

Tommary detects the faint sounds of speech or song of somebody with a low voice in the distance...

When he's surfaced, or with aqua-ear underwater?  Tommary investigates the sound, and more importantly a potential path to the sound.  Investigation 29
