“Wah? Hunh?” Toots asks groggily.

Elyona rouses at the sound of Tommary's voice.  She makes sure her weapons are in reach and sets the rod to a flametongue sword, in case it is needed. 

Upon seeing Elyona spring into action, Toots becomes more awake. She sticks her hand out through the wall of their tiny hut and casts minor illusion to create the image of a large rock to block the path up ahead. “Maybe it won’t come this way now, whatever it is.”

 OOC: The passage is generic dungeon 10 x 10 so the illusion would not be big enough. 

“Ily, can you see what’s coming?”

Just beyond the limit of sight you see a thick looking humanoid figure.

As pieces putrefy and fall off, you see the flesh regenerate to take its place. You feel fortunate that the dome is keeping the odor out.

"...I see somethin' that's gonna massacre our guide if we don't deal with it.  Tootsie, stay here and keep th' barrier up.  Ely, Tallboots...shall we get dirty again?"

OOC: A Nurgle Plague Marine?!? Cool. Since the hut is a dome, can our guide the spider slip past it up by the ceiling where the dome curves in? I would rather not drop the dome, but we also can’t afford to lose our guide. Not with Tweedles Dee & Dum as our backup navigators at any rate.

The spider struggles to squeeze along the wall but there is not enough space. It becomes more frantic as the large creature gets closer, scrabbling and scratching. It is 50 feet away and drawing closer.

“Uhh… unless you lot want Tommary to lead us the rest of the way to who knows where, we better do something. Or else we’re gonna spend the rest of our lives looking for Albuquerque.”

"Maybe it's affiliated with the fungijack?  Worth dropping some Gnome on it to see if it wants to chat before Windbreaker takes on its stank?"

Presuming the others (excepting Toots) leave the hut, Elyona will leave with them.  If possible, she will put herself between their spider guide and the approaching creature, with her sword out in front of her. 

“Ohh, Ely be careful” Toots frets.

Roll initiative, target is 40 feet out.
