OOC: I am so sorry, I forgot about this entirely for like a week. Possibly longer.
Wysperra has been doing the DM thing and running Hawksley for you until your return and the rest of us have just kept on playing. We’re currently battling a Wight.
Hawksly, it’s technically your turn first. On Toots’ last turn she spent hat action to offer Hawksley help with the climb if you want it she can give you a boost.
“Tommary, you okay up there?” Since Toots is pretty confident that this fight will go our way (since one Wight is down and the other is still wool gathering), so she will move out towards the middle of the dried mud field and use her Action to look for another passage down on the ground floor. (Both she and I are convinced there has to be one, or at least something to make it easier to get up and down rather than climbing the walls.)
Perception: 23
You notice that the gnolls might have possibly dug the tunnel up instead of at a slant to be a the same height as the discs or doorways but for some reason they thought it was a better idea to dig to the level of the mud.
Curiouser and curiouser.... Could she use her Bonus Action and/or her once per turn free item interaction to collect a sample of this mud?
Sure, you slice off a cake of the dried mud which has some wet mud and glowing fungus on it.
Is the fungus like a mushroom or more like a mold? How, other than being wet (and potentially that fungus), is the wet clay different than the dry clay if at all?
It’s getting kinda cramped up there and Tommary, Elyona, and Taslyn should be able to mop up without Toots. She may as well try to be useful on the lower level while she’s here. Can she make an Insight check or something to see if she can surmise why the Gnolls dug their tunnel to the mud pit instead of to the higher level?
On the plus side, Tommary is in the way so you cannot pass.
Tommary, do something else, Elyona is sure you can handle it.

Gentlemen's rules, then. Tommary takes a conventional saber swipe at the Wight Attack: 11 Damage: 11

The wight snarls and tries to take a bite out of Tommary while trying to shove him back!
Bite bite! Attack: 19 Damage: 3 DC 13 CON save or reduce max hp
Shove 6
Tommary make Athletics check vs above number or be pushed back into Elyona's space
Elyona make Athletics check if Tommary fails. If you also fail, you get pushed back 5 feet.

Tommary's Athletics 17.

Tommary's patented "taunting whirlwind" sabre move prevents the Wight from finding a good place to land its shove.

Oethe will climb up(Athletics, if I need to make a check: 12) and cast sacred flame at the wight(DC 14 dex save or take 8 radiant damage).
Parts of the wall under Oethe crumble and the mud makes it slippery. He is not able to climb up.
Toots and Hawksley your turn.

There's a map near the top of this page. He can try to climb up a small cliff(Toots is helping him) to get to a position where he can see the wight.
