You walk down a small rough stone staircase. Inside the next room, benches and tables are set up as workspaces where miners clean any gemstones they find. Gravel and pebbles are strewn on the ground. Scattered across the floor are a few hammers, picks, and broken lanterns. One exit is to the south.
Hrothbert gives the carving a cursory glance as he walks by. “Safe enough? Shall we continue?” Still Holding his sword he scans back across the area and companions. “Same order as before?”
Witherspoon flies to the new location, and Rhys continues to look through her eyes.

More active on weekdays than weekends.
Assume all of my characters are gay.
“Well if that’s settled let’s carry on.” Hrothbert Points down the west tunnel. “I’ll take the rear again.”

(OOC: Pushing slowly forward, what do we see?)

"One exit," Balasar stated, "Obvious location for a trap if there is one."
I want to check for any traps by the southern exit.
Ok. Investigation.
Investigation: 4
(OOC: SOrry, accidentally had it rolling 11 D20's)
Hrothbert comes up behind Balasar. “What you see in there? Hoping we come to the end of this quickly. The old ‘It’s to quiet’ saying comes to mind?”
( For future reference is it possible to assist other with their checks? I imagine it would have to be stated before the role happens.)
Loyalty Begets Honour
(For future reference, assisting someone with the check gives them advantage. For PbP, I'll say it has to be before I give the results.)
(Ok good to know. Did we get the results or can I give Balasar advantage on this roll?)
Loyalty Begets Honour
(You can give advantage.)
(Balasar you can reroll that investigation)
Loyalty Begets Honour
"Oh never say that out loud. That's how you jinx it." Kaloruk pointed out as he kept close to Anya and Rhys.
Long time roleplayer and artist, I enjoy the fantasy world of dragons and magic. It only makes sense I dive into Dungeons and Dragons!
Looking forward to learning the game and making new friends. :)
Investigation: 15
(Ouch lol. Worth a try)
Hrothbert peers into the tunnel beside Balasar and whispers to him. “Didn’t think it was that dark down there, I won’t be much help for this.”
Loyalty Begets Honour
You find no traps, but do find a small figurine of a dog carved out of rock, with two pebble-sized tourmalines for eyes.
Balasar stares at the small figurine with the tourmaline eyes, racking his brain for where he saw this thing before.
(OOC: Does Balasar recognize the figurine?)
No. It looks like something a bored miner on break might make. The tourmalines give it some value, though.
Hrothbert gives the carving a cursory glance as he walks by. “Safe enough? Shall we continue?” Still Holding his sword he scans back across the area and companions. “Same order as before?”
Loyalty Begets Honour
Balasar continues to look at the figurine.
(OOC: Is it small and portable? Anything attached to it, like a tripwire or something that could trigger?)
