Others think "OH MY GOD, I am surrounded by people that hate the taste of Goodberry that much?"
I have a warforged artificer in our current game, and the way I described casting goodberry* the first time has one of the pcs refusing to eat my goodberries(crunchberries). Fortunately we haver a ranger that also has it and those are acceptable to him. We've all gotten a good laugh out of it.
* magic initiate background feat using one dnd rules as an experiment
When I got the spell Foresight, my Charisma 3 Wizard asked everyone if he would just let him touch them with this humming bird feather. None of them ever let me cast Foresight on them.
When a Druid takes damage in their wild shaped form it doesn’t affect their regular form, which is cuts into flesh and stuff like that. And when the Druid returns, they don’t have cuts in their flesh, but there is still a mess of blood and gore.
So I think that if you just tore a leg of a cow Druid, and then killed the cow, you’d keep the leg.
Another thing that is worth mentioning is this sort of thing may not fly at every table if they have safety rules that include limits on animal cruelty and other act of bestiality.
Players often ask how hurt a monster looks. Don’t ever feel as though you need to reveal exact hit points, but if a monster is below half its hit point maximum, it’s fair to say that it has visible wounds and appears beaten down. You can describe a monster taken to half its hit points as bloodied, giving the players a sense of progress in a fight against a tough opponent, and helping them judge when to use their most powerful spells and abilities.

How have we made it this far and no one has made a ‘RAW’ joke? ;)
Got a link in the digital DMG? I don’t have a physical copy to reference.

I think they are referring to the paragraph just before Using and Tracking Conditions where it states:
