the Nightwisp has a long root system with flowers every few feet the flowers glow light blue in the dark. When ever a animal gets too close to the Nightwisp the flower closes and the next one lights up. They are attracted to sights of magic and are also known as witch’s flowers and wisps. When used in a potion can give dark vision
At one point in time A cat had it´s blood replaced with a potion of foresight creating a sphinx the sphinx after centuries of living like a god created the ever curious tabaxi as servents the tabaxi still roam the lands gathering secrets for their sphinx lord who still lives.
the dragonborn once lived apart from other races, in their own kingdom called Diligenia. Diligenia was known for its warlike culture, which was similar to Spartan culture. when the 5 wizards brought about the great calamity by bringing these powerful spirits to the world, the some of dragonborn of Diligenia went underground (literally and metaphorically), and began training in combat over the generations, in hopes that some day they will be able to kill the spirits and make the world whole again. the others integrated into normal socity, and thus are looked down upon by the other dragonborn.
wait.... are these all the locations, races, and festivals? there's not very many of each, and that's super restrictive. plus, there must be more than one village in the whole world, right?

the spirits "sponsor" necromancy, at Pòsdǔdìzayī's school of undeath. there, wizards learn necromancy, and are forced are corrupted by lies from the spirits to work for them. in return, they are spared by the spirits.
Uralter is an ancient spirit of the earth and sky, and lays dormant, for they were gravely wounded during the Great End. Their energy encompasses the entire world, and is the source of all non-spirit magic. Somebody tell me if this is not okay
the great eye is the eyes of a storm, that has been constantly blowing sense the spirits came. some say that the eyes can see and report information back to the spirits. no one knows if this is true, but people do know that when hers trying to kill the spirits come to the eye, the spirits come not long after and deal with the heroes. people also know that the eye is calm, in the middle of a raging, terrible storm that has lasted for years. no one ventures near the eye, for fear of the spirits seeing through it and going through the storm, but rumors have it that the power to reawaken Uralter in held somewhere in the great eye.
The Order of Seliran is the order of the ghostslayer in this world. They desire to destroy all spirits, believing they are all evil. They use hemocraft magic, which is neither divine nor arcane, denying themselves the power of Uralter. There are some rogues of the order who do not desire to destroy all spirits, but that is the primary goal of the Order. They also have no real headquarters, spread across the world in pairs of two.
A small religion has arisen, calling themselves the "Prophets of the End" (all death domain). They claim that the spirits are sent here to cleanse the world of the mortal forms of the humanoid races.
They travel in small groups, led by a senior priest. Whenever they encounter sentient life, the senior priest reads off the religion's holy texts as the lesser priests use inflict wounds to kill the unfortunate victims. Interestingly enough, the spirits almost never threaten Prophets of the End, a fact that has driven some to join them.
They organize into three main ranks: lesser priests (acolytes), senior priests (priests), and grand priests (wights with the spellcasting feature of a priest) In all cases, replace one of their first level spells with inflict wounds. The process of becoming a grand priest involves allowing oneself to be possessed by a spirit. It is unknown how much control the host retains...
Prutz Defrehn is The founder and current president of the wayfinder society They are a powerful spirica tied to a curiosity spirit and never leave camps without at least a few high ranking adventurer´s to protect and power them. They are unsurprisingly incredibly curious and wise knowing something about anything one can know.It is standard protocal that several wards most be placed around them and any wild spirit equal to or greater in size then Prutz Defrehn that are within 60ft of them most be neutralized and contained. No wild spirits are allowed in their regular residences and at least one knowledge spirit of some sort must be kept within their regular residences at all times.
Just so you all know, I'm working on making a homebrew spiraca race
The Pathwalkers are an union of "travelers" who do their best to help in whatever way they can and learn everything they can. (Lore bards, wizards, knowledge clerics, etc) They can be many things depending on the moment: mercenaries, scribes, anything. Whatever case, they usually never stay in one place very long, keeping to their names.

They tend to work with the wayfinders although they have a rivalry when it come to providing guides and mercenaries.
slumbering far beneath the earth was the only creation the 5 wizards worked together to create and likely the thing that brought the apoclyspe that we no know. The creature has become a sort of myth many believing it will rise once again. The great beast was created by the first wizard stiching together the best parts of powerful species of various types, the second replaced their blood hundreds of condensed spirits of various types giving it notable magical, psyhical and mental power, the third placed hundreds of powerful wards to protect it from harm turning it into a juggernaut, the 4th and 5th pooled their power together too to give the beast the power to eat spirits and gain the powers. The created creature was an unstopable being of power that could levels cities without even thinking and that not even the gods could challenge. Thus is this world´s tarrasque.
The wayfinder’s have constructed a series of forts among major trade routes. The forts are there to help keep in good standing with spirits along the road as well as regular maintenance. Scouts in the forts are encouraged to explore the surrounding area particularly the plants and animals. Some forts require a toll to pass and others rely on gifts.
the wayfinder institute ranks go somewhat like this initiate and scribe which spend a few years learning. Messengers which spend time traveling the safer roads. Scouts who man the forts and guide people on the less traveled roads. The most prestigious rank is wayfinder who are sent out to find new paths and ancient knowledge. Due to the trouble with communicating the ranks are not used in every encampment and some have ranks of there own.
the spiritborn are a race of spirit like humanoids. they are all descended from a powerful half-spirit, and therefor have spirit like powers and tenancies, although much weaker. most spiritborn support the spirits, and therefore are hated by most common folk.
