A completely normal female human. She has literally nothing interesting in her backstory, and she's so normal, it makes her unique.
Nice. Since (when asked about a PC's background), everyone claims to be an orphan brought up on the mean streets, I too once went against type and created a rogue that claimed to be a mean-streets-orphan, but really just had a perfectly normal upbringing and regular relationship with parents/siblings (the DM of course took that as an opportunity to murder them).
Oof, I had a character whose background basically revolves around his dad being a rich politician.
I once played a charachter that had multiple personality, and would shift from being a barbarian to a wizard halfway through combat depending on a percentile dice roll. It was a multiclass charachter that could only us abilities from its class, and what class got the level when a new level was gained was also decided by a percentile die roll.
The players had never played any other character before then.
During the campaignette, one of the players told to the DM, "You created five monsters."
That certainly would be a weird kind of character creation.

Human. Male. Possibly. Don't be a divider. My characters' backgrounds are written like instruction manuals rather than stories. My opinion and preferences don't mean you're wrong. I am 99.7603% convinced that the digital dice are messing with me. I roll high when nobody's looking and low when anyone else can see.🎲 “It's a bit early to be thinking about an epitaph. No?” will be my epitaph.
Interesting. I had a wild magic sorcerer that switches personalities when he uses a different type of spell, like a crazed explosion fanatic whenever he uses an evocation spell.
For the tiefling psycho? Rogue. Phantom, if you mean subclass. He's got the nimble feat, too, so when he reaches 13th level and gets the ghostwalk ability, I'll be able to go up to 120 ft. through solid material in one turn, and give disadvantage to all attacks against me, along with nullifying opportunity attacks. It's gonna be fun.

I have a completely original Dragonborn sorcerer! No surprise, Draconic Bloodline. Though, I did add lots of random details. For one, Red(Who is a brass dragonborn, btw), likes to burn things. A lot. Speaking of- One of my favorite spell combos out there is Create Bonfire, Control Flame, and Pyrotechnics. Red uses Create Bonfire near an enemy, then Control Flame to spread it to them, then Pyrotechnics. >:D
But yeah, I have a Brass dragonborn, Draconic Bloodline sorcerer named Red.
*Edit- Also thinking of multiclassing into Cleric or Paladin. Because why not?
I am currently putting together the basis for a lovable idiot type character who's going to be a cleric - intelligence will be their dump stat.
I am basing them off of the Goon Show character Eccles, both for their cheerful nature and lack of anything approaching intelligence!
Eccles the Cleric is going to be a dwarf who's always got a stubbly chin - he was once told that shaving his beard will make it grow back thicker, so he tries it every morning, but every morning it's not grown back, so he tries again!
I intend for him to be full of wise sayings and such, and I think he'll be a real laugh to roleplay (I'm not going to make him drag the party down - most of his idiocy will be anecdotal and outside of critical moments - or whenever the dice say he's stupid!).
Another one is that he doesn't know which god he serves - he compares it to "when you've been working with someone for so long that it feels rude to ask them their name".
I haven't yet decided on a good domain, but Trickery might fit for him - though I dont think he feels smart enough to play tricks... I might even make him a warlock, who's convinced he's a cleric. I'm really hoping it'll make for a good character and not just an annoying one - time will tell if Eccles gets dropped down a mineshaft!
You might try the Forge domain, given that your character will be a dwarf, or maybe the Peace domain- Expect take that literally and make it so your dwarf wouldn't hurt a fly! For even more chaos, maybe have them tend to trip and fall on people while having something sharp out.
If you're going warlock, you might try either the Celestial or the Undying. Celestial because they're basically gods already, and Undying because how else are you going to just barely survive a fireball(Or long drop down a mineshaft.), before sipping a cup of tea and saying 'This is fine'.
Okay, that last big might be more on the stupid side than an actual idea, but there are some ideas for ya! :)
I like the idea of a warlock who is convinced he is a cleric. It plays into the dumb, but it doesn't really work for a high wisdom. I'd drop either this or the wise sayings, unless the "wise sayings" end up being just ridiculous, which could be good, too. It seems to me that he'd have to have low intelligence and normal to low wisdom to not figure out he is a warlock rather than a cleric, but that's ok because you have high charisma! Low wisdom and high charisma... perfect for starting a cult! Who would deceive a poor dwarf like this? An Archfey would, acting like a deity to trick him while having him spread their influence in Faerun (or somewhere else), and they would very likely be entertained if this confused individual ends up starting some kind of cult devoted to them. It could be a direction to go.
I've decided to definitely go for the warlock approach, and I'm going to go for the Celestial patron (so there is at least something to convince him he's a cleric) and then go for the bact of the tome. I may then pick out the ability where you never sleep, and just have him convinced that his book is really good and impossible for him to put down. After a few long rests of him reading his book, he'll proudly declare that he's worked out the first sentence!
I might drop the high wisdom and reserve any wisdom he might have for pure roleplay. I am currently pondering some backstory in which a jealous (but not too bright) celestial wanted their own cleric, so they got Eccles, and are now regretting it but have to work with what they've got.

A tiefling cleric who wasn't rejected by society, and is part of the Sunday Tea Party Team, with his neighbor, Bob. He also genuinely enjoys life.
This is something I saw not too long ago:
Everyone was made to get up and switch to another player's seat, taking over the other player's character.
The players had never played any other character before then.
During the campaignette, one of the players told to the DM, "You created five monsters."
That certainly would be a weird kind of character creation.

I haven’t got to use them yet, but I’m making a character who is a 12 yr old Noble who has a warforged barbarian as a servant.
I've got a Tiefling Rogue Psycho (homebrew background) with a demon (specifically, a merrenoloth) guardian who's half that age.
