So as the title states, talk about your most unique character's you've played. Maybe a sorcerer with max dexterity and a negative charisma modifier that doesn't like spells. An awakened pony that developed psionic powers from an aboleth. Or even a crab that Cthulhu wanted to see what would happen if he gave warlock powers and knowledge to, then got a tiny wizard hat.
All these examples are brief detail on characters I already made actually, but I want to see if anyone has their own character's that are like this or even more weird.
Edgar: an awakened raven wizard's familiar. During the first session: he drew the Skull card from a Deck of Many Things, so his master immediately killed him- to save him from the Death Avatar (and allow him to be Reincarnated).
I personally haven't played anything that out there, but I once played with a half-orc fighter named The Yule Orc. His mission: bring presents to the children on Yule Day, while spreading joy throughout the land. He was, in fact, orc Santa.
A giant rouge with an overwhelming amount of skill in slight of hand and stealth very interesting to play I would use my slight of hand to just steal the whole dude and sneak away.
A completely normal female human. She has literally nothing interesting in her backstory, and she's so normal, it makes her unique.
Nice. Since (when asked about a PC's background), everyone claims to be an orphan brought up on the mean streets, I too once went against type and created a rogue that claimed to be a mean-streets-orphan, but really just had a perfectly normal upbringing and regular relationship with parents/siblings (the DM of course took that as an opportunity to murder them).
A dex based halfling paladin who was a member of the halfling cavalry. He rode a mastiff and eventually got oath of redemption. He was the tank of the party.
One of my friends once played a character played a Tabaxi rouge who specialized in setting off traps. How they did it was... abnormal. What they did was they found a hallway that probably had a lot of traps in it and put on every piece of armor that they could find, and pretty much made themselves invincible. They then proceeded to run down the hallway, setting off all the traps. But because they were so fast and they had so much armor on, they basically came out of the hallway unharmed. Then the rest of the party would proceed, and all the traps would already be set off. I have no idea how the DM allowed that, but she said that it was the most original thing that she had seen in her time as a DM.
I prefer to DM to being a player so I get to come up with some weird creations on occasions that are off the cuff improv. My favorite and weirdest creation was a creature the party encountered in the drinking hall of champions. This was an otherworldly nexus that the spirits of heroes could come to rest in after their lives had ended. Every god in my pantheon could allow creatures access to this place so not everything in there was a good aligned creature. One particular creature caught the attention of the party.
Its name was Tin. It was a sentience that existed in borrowed body parts. The parts that were borrowed did not stay fresh once attached to its "body" but instead rotted over time so it had to continue to take parts from other creatures. The only caveat was the creature it took a part from had to be willing. Turned out Tin worshipped a deity that predated the normal pantheon in our games, one from a far realm of darkness that was very Lovecraftian. One of my players ended up showing interest in this deity and Tin offered to teach her the ways of the Waiting One if she agreed to give it a new eye as one of Tin's had rotted to sludge. It took a few sessions for her to decide to do it, but once she did, she returned and had her eye scooped out and then replaced with one that had darkvision. This was near the end of a multi year campaign so we didn't really have time to see how her character reacted to having a new eye that would slowly rot, but I have loved that creature every since and want to create a race based off of the description but have no idea how to stat something like that.
A rogue that has infinite molotov cocktails, he throws them at people in combat and then stands in the middle of the battlefield and screams. "You can't shoot me if you're on fire!" And believes that, while his foes are on fire, that he cannot be hit.
One of my friends played a bard who’s only magic included seducing people. That’s all they did the entire campaign. I don’t think anyone in the party wasn’t...... affected by her spells. My only really interesting character is my current one. A home brewed species that can only exist in mimicked bodies from other people, but they can combine traits from several people into one body. Infiltration is fun!

Back in the days of 1e, a friend challenged my to create the most challenging character I could. He ended up playing a Half-Ogre Witch Doctor. He had an evil eye curse ability and a magic warclub/ shaman's rattle. Great character and great roll playing from the player!
I knew of a Cleric who'd argue with his god why the things he was doing - obviously against the nature of the god - was actually the right thing according to the god's commands to her followers. He eventually crossed a line that she did not allow and he could not argue his way out of it. He became a follower of a god who needed no negotiation on the reasons for the Cleric's harsh-but-not-remotely-fair actions even though the Cleric was not happy with the change in domain.

Have not named them yet but they are an Aarakocra druid that almost always carries a random rock and he uses stone shape to form it into weapons. Finalizing the character soon will update.
I've played a water genasi monk who kept trying to sell people dodgy snake-oils, like "hobgoblin ointment". I've also played a "manticore man" character, who pretty much was a reflavored Green dragonborn in a Greek mythology themed campaign.

an ogre barbarian that is also a kindergarten teacher. the funniest part is that its students are probably even smarter than them!
