   The recent Godzilla movies seem to suggesst an answer that question, no?  Not to mention all the disaster movies that revolve around Los Angeles or New York being destroyed.

 Because horror and disaster movies are all very well known for their complete and perfect scientific accuracy and realism right? 

Consider that Godzilla in the Godzilla movies is 100-150 ft tall, whereas the biggest greatwyrm is ~20 ft tall. 

For some perspective:

The breath attack of a Greatwyrm is 300 ft cone, this is 1/4 the height of the Empire State building, 1/30th the length of Golden Gate bridge, 1/3 the size of an air craft carrier, less than 1/10th the width of the Hudson river at it's narrowest point in New York city.

 Ancient Dragons are about 30 feet cubes. Greatwyrms are much larger. And as I said before, time dragons are op. 8000 years as an ancient. About 8000 years ago we only had about 5 mil people. but if that is too much, wait a day and go back again. In two days they all destroy humanity, and in two they get back. It isn't just size and power. You can't nuke someone if they killed your grandmother before your mother even existed. X factors are always so important.
