Without magical items. Without checking your other calculations, that would mean 45 tops by subtracting your +3 for the shield, +3 for the armor (that I'm not certain would count anyway), +2 for your bonus dex from the manuals, +3 from defender, +2 from bracers of defense, and +1 from ring of protection. -14 total.
The Warforged of old has gone the way of the dodo. The new version doesn't feel like a warforged any more. And hour to put on or take off a suit of armor? And you have to find/buy your armor? Nah, I'll treat them like a Dream from the Veil of Dreams . . . a bad dream.
I am trying to recreate the warforged and changelings from the original WGtE, but using DDB homebrew is an excercise in frustration when it comes to creating anything complex.

Yes, they updated the warforged, but I actually think it is better. You get some good benefits. Integrated protection was kind of ridiculous as it was, a bit too strong. A first level fighter with the Defense fighting style and shield can still have an AC of 20 with the new one. The only think I really miss is that they now suffer exhaustion. I thought it was a cool mechanic that they didn't and it is the only thing I will probably "homebrew" back in.
magic items: +3 shield, +3 chain mail, bracers of defense, defender, 5 manuals of quickness of action (+2 dex), a ring of protection
Ac = 11+6+10 (warforged and manuals of +2 dex) + 5 (+3 shield)+ 1(fighter) + 5 (forge cleric abilities) +3 ( +3 chain mail - it just says +3 to ac, you don't have to be using the magic armour's ac calculation to benifit), +2 (shield of faith cleric spell), +4 (artificer's enhanced defense on chain mail and shield) , +2 (bracers of defense) + 3 (defender) +1 (ring of protection), +5 (shield spell) = 59
This is rife with bad math and bad info.
For instance, Bracers of Defense can't be used when wielding a shield or using armor.
You're also using old UA versions of Warforged and Artificer (I'm guessing).

Not to mention they have 5 Manuals of Quickness. At that point why not just start making up +5 armor and shields because you are being utterly ridiculous anyway, you may as well just make stuff up. There was a post about killing a Tarrasque in one round that was using equally ridiculous nonsense and involved about 20 vials of Purple worm poison, cause you know, that's easy to get a hold of and why pay attention to little details like the creature being immune to poison. I am all for goofy theory crafting, but at some point you are just being stupid.

Right? Didn't even notice he had five of those things in there.
And why stop at a +5 shield or even a measly collection of only five Manuals of Quickness? Why not ten? Twenty?
Because you can actually use 5 manuals of quickness to raise your stat to 30 within the existing rules, you just can't raise it beyond that point. The other stuff, however, is still wrong, the dex bonus and bracers don't work with the armor etc.

Sure, you CAN, but the point I and Meldroth are making is that it is just silly, not to mention the original post was to get the highest AC without magic items.
If you are taking a stat to 30 you may as well make up a magic item that sets the stat that way, it is more believable to come across one legendary item than 5 exceptionally rare books that most DMs don't give out 1, let alone 5 of the SAME book to the SAME character.
and as pointed out, like many posters, they are combining items that don't work together.
At level 2 a Fighter/Forge Cleric can take the Defense fighting style as well as use Blessing of the Forge to give the armor or Shield +1. This means a lvl two character with starting equipment could have Scalemail for 16 AC +2 Shield +1 Defense +1 Blessing of the Forge for a 20 AC.

Play as a Warforged for one extra AC!
Yeah, level 2 warfoger Fighter/cleric would have a base 16 (chain mail) + 1 Warfogerged + 1 Defense fighting style + 1 Blessing of the forge + 2 shield +2 shield of faith for a total of 23, not too shabby.
25 once they get some plate, take Eldritch Knight and Shield for a 30
You can make a Paladin at level 4 with a norm AC of 20, a spell assisted AC of 22, and a once per round AC of 24. All you need is a Dex score of 3.
(Medium armor master + Scale male + Sheild + Fighting Style + Sheild of Faith + Defensive duelist) = 24 AC. Further explanation below.
Go human and take the Medium armor master feat at level one. It allows you to add your dex score up to 3 to medium armor and as an added bonus it ignores stealth disadvantages. A paladin doesn't start with medium armor, so you'll either have to have a nice Dm who'll let you switch it out for scale, (giving you +25 gold as Scale is 50, and chain is 75) or you'll have to forgo your starting equipment and roll for wealth. (Paladin is 5D4 x 10gp, giving you a Min of 50 and max of 200) With Scale, the Feat, and your Dex of 3, your AC is 17. Add a shield and you bump it up to 19. At 2nd LVL, take the defensive fighting style (+1 AC) and you're up to 20. Sheild of faith takes it up to 22, and Defensive Duelist gives you 24 once per round.
Warforged bladesinger wizard 2, sword bard 18.
relevant spells: shield of faith ( bard magical secrets), shield (wizard).
magic items: bracers of defense, defender, 5 manuals of quickness of action (+2 dex), a ring of protection
Ac = 11+6+10 (warforged and manuals of +2 dex) +2 (shield of faith cleric spell), +2 (bracers of defence) + 3 (defender) +1 (ring of protection), +5 (shield spell) + 1d12 ( sword bard's defensive flourish, 6.5 average) = 46
