This might sound weird but will the Playtest Material be coming to the character sheet?
Yeah I know I can get out a pen and paper and make a character but it would be nice just to make a few on DnDBeyond. It also would mean that I could use all my other computer assets and click on the sheet and have it roll in Roll20 so that I can get it in my virtual games quick.
Long answer: DDB has, for many a moon now, dropped official support for Unearthed Arcana. The fact that DDB has banished all conversation about 1DD to Unearthed Arcana and forbidden people from talking about it anywhere else indicates that DDB will not be supporting One D&D playtesting, now or at any time in the future.
Not at this time. D&D Beyond has not supported playtest content for a while now. The challenge was trying to get it delivered to users as intended by the game designers and in a timely manner without putting all of the other things the team was working on on complete hold. Especially when you consider that it's all experimental and there is no guarantee that the content will be released as is. For things that change or are dropped between UA and release, that development and content entry effort would have been wasted when the team could have been working on other things.

Yeah I know they dropped UA support awhile back. I was hoping that now that Wizards bought them and that they are rolling out a massive playtest. Putting that playtest material available to the character sheet would be a great touch.
My players would probably be willing to try to playtest. But even when we are together we use Roll20, Beyond 20 and DndBeyond. So either we would have to go full pen and paper, or put everything on the Roll20 sheet, which takes for ever.

This was my hope too! DDB is officially part of the One D&D strategy, let's put on hold whatever else they were working on and support One D&D!
