This is a Follow-Up to the “What type of player/DM are you, to ask this question what type of player” are you? post which one you feel applies.

The Veteran 

Played D&D since 1st or second edition, Probably has a friendly, laid-back demeanor and will often hang out on Dungeon Masters Only, Rules & Mechanics, And Story & Lore, Probably played a ton in the 70’s and 80’s then came back for 5th edition.

The Regular

People who regularly post and read forums, may lurk more than post sometimes, enthusiastic about D&D and probably types long, thoughtful posts, might play MTG, and is most likely a mix of 2 or more archetypes.

The Rando

Probably just a guy who created a new account so he can anonymously complain about his DM, could also be a guy who recently joined the hobby.

The Weeb

Has anime pfp and doesn’t post much, responds to posts about anime and not much else, probably played once with a friend and never did again.

The Adohand Adept

Spends most of his/her time in Adohand’s Kitchen, Forum games, and Homebrew, probably has a meme pfp and belongs to some obscure fandom, most likely a memer and a big Tolkien fan.

I'm a Regular and Adohand mix. I try to help out as much as I can (mostly on the General Discussion, Story & Lore, and Dungeon Masters Only forums), but I've never played before 5e. I also spend a good deal of time on Adohand's, but mostly because of a roleplaying thread. I'm also active in one or two PbPs (which I notice you did not include).

I am a Regular,I also constantly homebrew constantly (I made a monster today and am working on monk subclass that I started 3 days ago) Homebrewer should probs be a category.

 I’m basically a lot like you, except I started with 3.5, not 5e, and I don’t do any PbPs, but I’m actually more familiar with the setting and published adventures of 5e than any of the previous editions. I also don’t post that much on any of the forums cause I’m busy with other social media and rl stuff, but I do try to keep up with one of the RP threads on Adohand.

I guess I’d be a Regular more than any of the other types.

I'm a Regular Veteran, but without that "thoughtful posts" mumbo jumbo.

So I guess that makes me an Irregular Veteran.

I don't personally like the options presented here. There are not enough of them so they don't represent all users, and these are too stereotype-ing. And I really, really don't like how you grouped andohand's kitchen/forum games with homebrew, as these are extremely different and unrelated things. Also, play-by-poster could be added.

I mainly do homebrew, but give a little bit of advise to people, participate inactively in pbps and forum games/andohand's kitchen, and like to lurk and read when not posting.

 That's actually exactly like I am, except I don't post of Dungeon Master's Only most of the time.

I am a regular veteran rando who appreciates good anime. I would be in Adohand’s Kitchen more often if it wasn't for my day job.

I'm pretty well described by the Regular and Veteran, if you swap out "1st or second edition" with "3.5" and "70’s and 80’s" with "early 00's."

 I’m not really a Veteran even though I started with 3.5 cause I prefer 5e to older editions.

None of them.  I'd be a Veteran, but I don't hang our in Story & Lore.  I'd be a Regular, but I'm not a mix of two types, I'm not a Rando, or a Weeb, or an Aohand Adept.

I'm a mess.  I don't fit any of the above.

I'd say regular. I hang out in general discussion, dungeon masters only, a little bit of story and lore, and home-brew and house rules. I am in other areas but these are where I generally am.

There are others like Homebrewer or player-by-posters that I don’t really have time to put down but feel free to add your own.

I probably mostly fit in the Veteran, again avoiding the long spiels that probably occurs in the Story & Lore section.

I don't see why any regular players would play MTG though. Too time consuming, and basically just cardboard crack!

Stubborn - You post regularly, in a number of different forums, and no matter what anyone says, you will not change your mind.  I'm not *quite* one of these, but I'm pretty close, and I've seen quite a number who fit.
