So I've recently been getting more into homebrew feats, items, subclasses, etc. However, the little bit of homebrew I do already have made is bad and frankly I'd rather I delete most of it. The problem I've run into tho is that you can't delete homebrew that you've shared with the community. Does anyone know if there actually is a way to do such a thing, or if the devs are planning on adding a way to do it?

There is no way to do it. The best you can do is “make a copy” and replace everything with “Out of Order” and republish it and hope it goes through. This is just another one of the many reasons I implore folks to not publish things until they have finished playtesting and editing them.
Thanks, I guess that'll work! Yeah, I really ought not to have published anything, so I guess I'll just hope that eventually they add that feature here. Thanks again!

Happy to help.
And there’s nothing wrong with publishing, it just sucks when it wasn’t really ready yet. I have learned it takes a minimum of 90 days to playtest, balance, and edit a lot of things. Backgrounds not so much, but everything else yeah. I’ve been play testing some stuff since pre-covid. It’s the rushing to publish homebrews that ends up biting us in the ass most often.
Yeah, I've been doing that with newer homebrew I'm making, the old stuff was literally either joke items or just because I could, never really for play, so that's what I'm mad about. Anyway, thanks again for the advice, and I'll make sure to publish only stuff I actually think is good in the future.

I've been there. Everybody probably has too. The thing is, if you see a homebrew creation that looks confusing, poorly balenced, or embarrassing, don't vote it down or comment on it. Just pretend that it's not there.

If your published homebrew is just plain wrong -- as in it doesn't provide the functionality the description gives, or implements something completely different -- then you can try Reporting it for that reason and see if the mods will delete it.

The thing is, DnDb staff can and do remove homebrew.

The Mods too. They removed a feat I had published that over 300 people had added to their collections. But they won’t do it for us if we ask, they don’t want to have to comply when they inevitably get bombarded with requests.

Yeah, if you can report it for legit reasons then they’ll pull it.

Well, as we all know, easiest would be for them to implement that option for the makers of the homebrew. I would like to be able to remove mine.
I want to clarify something, as people have been discussing the moderators removing published homebrew:
Yes, we do have permissions to remove published homebrew
This is only for homebrew that violates site rules
No, we will not remove your homebrew on request, even if you request via reporting it
Do not and I cannot stress this enough, do not edit your homebrew to violate site rules
If users abuse the report system in order to request homebrew be removed, this can lead to warnings and infractions for abuse of report system,
If users intentionally make new versions of homebrew that violate site rules, you can and will receive warnings and infractions for violating the site rules, and can have your homebrew publishing privileges revoked. Additionally, the moderation team will simply remove the offending version, rolling it back to the previous version.
In short, no, the moderation team will not remove your homebrew, no matter how nicely, or frequently, you ask.

Is there a reason why we are not able to do it ourselves?

Because deleting published homebrew can have disruptive effects on other users who may be using that homebrew. The moderation team takes express responsibility for any effects that may come from deleting homebrew, and also have the tools at their disposal to fix those issues.

...Oh gosh, I hope nobody was trying to create new versions of their undesired homebrew with site violations just to get the older versions deleted. That wouldn't work. I was mainly suggesting a "so long as the version you wanted to go away was badly broken anyway". Sorry if that caused problems :/

This seems counter productive. If I am creating an adventure or home brew supplement and want to get feedback on the homebrew items I have made there is no way for me to show them to someone without sharing them. Then I collect some feedback and decide to edit them or scrap the idea from overwhelming feedback. So what is really missing is a share option that does not publish the home-brew for use by others. the current method assumes those we want to show something to are in a campaign, which will not always be true, thus making the D&D Beyond platform far less useful for writers and authors looking for early feedback on their works.
The options should be ...
Share (make is publicly viewable but not usable beyond viewing)
There should at least be an option to edit published stuff and things for our homebrews. I do not think I will ever publish anything until I am 100% they are ready now... This revilation made me sad..
