Basically title, forgot to mention that it's for my homebrew race. I've been at it for hours but can't manage to make it work. I've managed to make cantrips work as part of the same racial trait (basically like Infernal Legacy for Tieflings) and an action as part of another racial trait. What can I do?
yeah, the homebrew tools as they exist now were not originally designed for widespread public use. It is on their roadmap to make a more consumer friendly tool.
I for one, cant wait. I can figure out the current tools and make them work, but it takes so much effort to do so that I have been discouraged from experimenting (I am lazy).
Glad to hear, seriously. I already knew that they didn't intend for it to be a public tool, but it still feels overly complicated even as an internal tool, lmao.

Same. My race has a transformation similar to the Fallen Aasimar's Necrotic Shroud and I really can't figure out how to properly implement it in the character sheet. For now it's the only thing that relies on the players themselves to keep track of as they play.

That is actually a limitation of character sheets. They don't have a way to track toggleable effects. It is also planned though.

I dont know why it wouldn't be working. Have you tried making a copy of a race that has spells and using the same set up it uses?
Managed to make it work, somehow. Jesus, this is just like coding
