Could I get some insight? I'm trying to figure out what to do when I get to level 4. Below are my current stats:
STR - 13(+1), DEX - 17(+3), CON - 16(+3), INT - 11(0), WIS - 9(-1), CHA - 8(-1)
I feel inclined to do ASI and bump STR and DEX to get +2 and +4 modifiers respectively. But there were some feats I was looking at as well:
Alert, Dual Wielder, Squat Nimbleness, Defensive Duelist, and Bountiful Luck.
Should I do ASI for the level 4 and level 8 to bump up DEX to 20 then look at the feats I listed? I'm also inclined to take Alert because I feel like that's just a Blood Hunter thing to have. So I'm even considering that first before ASI.
Just another piece of information. At level 2 for fighting style, I picked two weapon fighting and picked up Blood Curse of the Eyeless.
Just a mechanics note, watch your hit point total and action economy if you are using crimson rite to empower both of your weapons.
I would probably do +1 dex, +1 wis at level 4, since failing mental saving throws against spellcasters is the stereotypical thing to screw over warriors.
If you like the proficiency/speed from squat nimbleness, I'd probably go with that(picking Dex as the stat point it gives bringing you to 18) then decide at 8 if you want the damage/hit/ac from maxing Dex or if you would get more milage from a feat there (for instance dual wield and switch to rapiers giving ac and larger damage die)
