Is there a way to only show notifications that involve me or posts I've made or commented on?
The bell icon at the top of the page shows notifications for EVERYTHING and none of it involves me or a thread I'm a part of. I checked my notifications settings on my profile, but it is only set to get notifications about things that mention me or is a thread I created. That's it. Yet I still get a notification for everything that happens on this website.
It's not a big deal, but I would like to get notifications for my posts rather than everyone else's.
Can you give examples of notifications you're getting that you think you should not?

I don't get it. I'm not that active in the forums or with private messages. The only things I want notifications from is my own posts and private messages, but I can't find an option for that. And now, since my inbox is flooded with bullshit I've just decided to turn ALL notifications off and mark D&D Beyond as spam.
Some of the notifications say I'm subscribed to them, but I see one thread discussing Paladins... I've never discussed Paladins on here. I'm not subscribed to that crap.
I can't view your screen shots as they are not set to public. It might be best to use an image hosting service like Imgur.

Yes, that's where I turned everything off. Before I did that I only had selected forums and threads I was subscribed to and private messages. I'm just going to leave all notifications off.
I appreciate ya'll taking the time to respond. This is a minor nuisance, so please don't spend too much time on it. It COULD be a bug, but it's more likely user error on my part.
At the top right above the list of forums click Tools. There is a link which will show "Subscribe" or "Unsubscribe".
If it says Unsubscribe click this, it should change to Subscribe.
Basically, I think you somehow subscribed there which would cause you to receive notifications of any posts or new threads made to any and all forums regardless of what your settings were.
If it was showing Subscribe, consider trying this for individual forums (again, Tools at top right), just in case you're subbed to individual forums.

I get notifications for EVERYTHING. Every forum post, every comment. Look at this screenshot of my email inbox AFTER I turned off ALL notifications:

Here's a screenshot of SOME of the unwanted notifications (I can't fit them all on the screen):

In the Army, we called it an ID-10T error ;)
The only things I leave checked are:
I subscribe to lots of users and threads, but if you don't it should keep things lower for you.
