Oh I'm sorry, I'm new to this and I want to know the in's and out's of DnD. I've seen it everywhere and it looks really fun, I just want to know how I should begin playing DnD thank you :)
They are available (for free) here and on the offical wizards of the coast website. If you have issues navigating this site simply Google "Dungeons and Dragons basic rules" download the pdf and read it.
Also try YouTube for more details. Its a lot easier to learn when someone shows you rather than explaining it in text.
There is a lot of information so it's best digested in small bite sized bits. Read the rules watch youtube then come back for the finer details.
If you have friends who play, have them show you stuff. If you don’t have friends who play, do you have friends who want to play? If so all help each other learn. If not, do you have a game store in your local area? If so, go make friends with people who play or who want to. That’s the best way to start.
