I preordered the books fully in mind of getting everything promised, and Wizards secretly, without saying anything, removed the Golden Dice from the store page as a listed reward to obtain. and from the Wayback Machine on June 21st. now onto the physical. First, the one up now. and Wayback and lastly, the bundles and Wayback
There was no price change and no talk about this was going to happen. It went silently, and ngl, I'm pretty mad. Not just that I don't get Golden Dice, but the fact that they can just promise something during a preorder, have people pay money and expect to get everything, just to take aspects of it away. I could be wrong, but isn't that, like, illegal??
I sure hope so. I also just saw that they put up a post an hour ago talking about the preorder bonuses, and listed is still the Golden Dice by itself, away from the 15. It does say tho that you have to buy the Physical and Digital bundle, which, tbh, I REALLY don't want to do atm. I'm content with only getting Digital, as most of my games are online. I hope they clarify this.
Like Linklite, the Golden Dice were a big part of why I ordered the digital bundle. Those vanity items are the reasons why I have preordered here for years actually... for better or worse. So I would also like clarification.
It is not the first time they have done something like this, bundle discount stacking was nixed and claimed by many to have never existed despite it being advertised both long before and well after WotC bought DDB. Now they have a patch through CS, and are working on a permanent solution. Hopefully this will be addressed as well, it is getting hard to trust this company.

I have confirmed with the team that the Golden Dice are included in the 15 sets for the core bundle. In other words, you will be getting 14 additional sets of dice than what was originally offered.

I'm pretty sure the Golden dice set is still there. If you check the PH, DMG and MM pages, you see they list 14 dice sets for these books (PH 12 dice sets, DMG 1 dice set, MM 1 dice set). The bundle says 15 dice sets (14 from the books) so the last one is probably the Golden dice set.

It does appear that they have increased the number of dice sets from 1 -> 15. It is entirely possible that one of those will be golden.
