I am really enjoying my character but im looking for a multi class option that would give me more opportunities, but I still want my remaining levels to be useful. My highest mental stat is a 14 is wisdom and I am not against taking some more levels in fighter. Would you guys have any ideas?
One level of cleric can give you a lot of utility. Cantrips, access to all the level 1 cleric spells, and a bunch of other nice things depending on your chosen domain.
Getting a couple of assumptions out the way: 1) you're not expecting the character will get retired well before hitting level 20 and 2) Wis is the only 13+ mental stat, so classes needing Int or Cha to multiclass into are out?
Off the bat, Bard, Ranger and Rogue can give you an extra proficiency (might depend on what you already have). I assume Bard is not an option though. Monk and Druid are less interesting because of armour hangups. Paladin, Sorcerer, Warlock and Wizard (which would probably be my go-to otherwise) are presumably not an option either. Barbarian isn't going to increase versatility.
Realistically we're looking at Cleric, Ranger or Rogue.
Rogue: very good for skills, between getting an extra one just from multiclassing, possibly more from archetype, and getting Expertise; sneak attack doesn't hurt but is just more damage; Cunning Action helps your mobility. Couple of good archetype options. Ranger: good for exploration, but those features aren't great to begin with (IMO) - your extra skill would have to go to Survival if you don't have that yet; Fighting Style and archetype don't help a great deal with versatility; spellcasting helps, but is very limited even if you went with a 4-level dip. Cleric: there's Channel Divinity and some minor Domain stuff, but this one's all about the spellcasting. Save based spells are not going to be great, but buffs and utility could be excellent. Wizards get a better spell list in general, but Clerics get healing. Nobody ever complains about the party having too much healing.
Those are your options: more and better skills (go Rogue), better exploration qualities (go Ranger, but not really - Rogue is arguably still a better option for this especially if you pick up Scout) or utility/buff/healing mojo (go Cleric). If your party would benefit from a boost in one of these areas, have at it. If they've already got it covered well enough, sticking with Fighter is probably better.

Thank you guys for answering so quickly. All the suggestion are great. I hadn't even thought of cleric yet and it sounds awesome.
