I am having some problems when creating a Cleric Subclass.
On two occasions I have a power that I need to cast to gain benefits but my benefits are always on and I can't seem to make them on cast.
War Dancer
In battle you fight with graceful elegance. On your turn, you can enter a war dance as a bonus action.
While dancing, you gain the following benefits if you aren't wearing armor:
You have advantage on Dexterity checks and Dexterity saving throws.
You can use Dexterity instead of Strength for the attack and damage rolls of weapons with the Versatile property.
You have resistance to piercing and slashing damage.
Imbued Blade-Your attacks do extra Radiant Damage on each attack, +1 at 1st Level, +2 at 6th, +3 at 11th, +4 at 16th
You can't cast spells requiring concentration while dancing and any spell that you are concentrating on is immediately dispelled when you enter into a war dance.
Your dance lasts for 1 minute. It ends early if you are knocked unconscious or if your turn ends and you haven't attacked a hostile creature since your last turn or taken damage since then. You can end your dance on your turn as a bonus action.
I can't seem to make these bonuses on only when I enter War Dance.
Next is My channel Divinity allows me to cast spells from the bard spell list also but I can't seem to make it only when I Channel Divinity.
Lastly I created a Spell just for my Domain spells. Spell Turning it shows as Null in my Domain Spells.
Spells also do no affect anything on a character sheet. The closest you could come would be to make a magic item that the character can equip/unequip to fake it.
1: I personally feel like a simple war dance is more under the boundaries of bard than cleric. Maybe alter the domain to be more about general dance to make it more of a "domain" than a specific style. I just feel that this class needs to be different than the college of swords bard or a hexblade. In other words, think about broadening your spectrum a little!
2: War dancer should probably be under channel divinity. If it already is, maybe reword it to make that more clear. Making you unable to cast spells during the dance seems to be too underpowered. Perhaps if you cast a spell that exists on both the bard and cleric spell lists, you get to make a weapon attack as a bonus action (limited uses included)?
3: I don't think learning bard spells temporarily as a channel divinity currently works. The bard and the cleric are both very support based and share many spells. Broaden the additional spell list that every cleric subclass gets to include spells necessary for that Bard vibe you are going for. This opens up a new slot for creative potential at level 6.

If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it.
Temporary effects are not yet supported on the BBD character sheet. Nothing turns on and off.
I none understand what you mean by “shows as Null in my Domain Spells,” you are going to have to do a bit more specific.

Sorry it says Tooltip not Found, was thinking of something else. Does it not show Domain spells that are homebrew?
Also can i get around the temp effects by creating the spell War Dance and giving those bonuses?
Homebrewed spells cannot be tooltipped.
