As the title says, I'm trying to create a homebrew weapon that adds +2 to any attack roll made with it, but for the life of me I cannot figure out how. Anyone able to explain this to me?

You can do +2 to Attack and damage, but not just attack rolls

But wouldnt that make it the same as a +2 weapon which already is in the dungeon masters guide?

Thanks guys, turns out I was getting myself confused and you're right, it is just a +2 weapon. I'm adapting it from a homebrew weapon my DM found that lists the +2 as if it were a special modifier, which is what confused me, but I have it all down now.
