So I have been transferring some subclasses from un-official 5e books, sadly can't create classes but I have a few questions for the settings on sub-classes.
First things first. I am having trouble translating things that I see in the character sheets for official subclasses, like save DC's already mathed out for example. In this case, I have gone to the action that requires a Strength saving throw and entered that this ability uses the character's proficiency bonus and the creature needs to make a Str saving throw. However, it comes up as how I typed it originally/what was in the book, "8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength modifier". Is this the wrong way to do what I am looking for? Or am I just a little off?
Limited resources, i.e a Goliath's "Stone's Endurance", a Goblin's "Fury of the Small". I know you must create an action, save, go edit the action again, and the "Limited Resource tab at the bottom. I have filled this out a good 4 times now with the correct details, there is no change, no clickable slots to show you've used them up or anything and it is just a little frustrating. Does anyone know what I could be missing?
Level Overrides, the same section near the previous tab, the short answer is that the information is never "overridden" after I have put in the level and whatever possible details I can put in. Granted they haven't been conventional like damage, it has been things like pushing a creature another 10 feet, even though there is nothing to input for that or it isn't very obvious.
Also quick edit, I sometimes will fix something small, like adding a snippet in an action or ability (cause I am new and figured it out a little late), but after refreshing the character it doesn't update to show me the snippet. What's up with that?
This is just the very beginning honestly as I have a few I want to add, but making test characters has shown me things I knew I could fix and have done so, and other things that are giving me a level of exhaustion.
I recommend only using Snippets in the short description, not the full description. You already mentioned using them, and you just need to use them to calculate the DCs. I recommend “The target must succeed on a DC {{savedc:cha}} Wisdom saving throw or be paralyzed” as your formatting. This would calculate the saving throw based on the user’s Charisma, and matches the official formatting.

I'm having difficulty understanding what you're looking for here, either you're having trouble with the save DC showing up on the Action correctly or the snippet is not showing up correctly. Can you post a screenshot of your Action's setup?

Make sure you're setting the RESET TYPE. Though LIMITED RESOURCE only shows up if you have RESET TYPE set. So this is probably a waiting for the server cache to catch up. See General FAQ & Basic Troubleshooting #6

I think you want to use a combination LEVEL SCALING from the feature page and LEVEL OVERRIDES from the Action page. You just have {{scalevalue}} in the snippet to display both the feature and the action correctly. LEVEL OVERRIDES should only work on the value in that screen, but dynamic text in the snippet needs to be {{scalevalue}} pulled from LEVEL SCALING

Here is the thing that lets you calculate values:
