I've had an idea for a Warlock patron for a while and have had help balancing it out and even worked some new invocations specific to that patron. Anyway to add those into character creation?
I believe I've found a nice substitute for that then. As part of the subclass, I created an "Eldritch Invocation" feature, and added a number of Options to it. Luckily, I can not only make this version an Additional feature, I can also make each Invocation a separate option to choose AND specify the required level as a prerequisite. And yes, it does create a second Eldritch Invocation feature that is marked with "Optional Feature" but it's better than nothing.

If you made it a “granted” feature it would be there all the time. “Additional” and “Replacement” features are only for the Optional features like from Tasha’s.
You can use feats to add features. Not the best, but it does work.
Here's a video I made.

Base class features such as invocations are not accessible via the homebrewer.
