If you have the spell due to buying it, then it will show up.
If it is not showing, you're doing something wrong. But what you're doing wrong is hard to tell, as we cannot see what you see. Can you describe the steps - specifically -, or take screenshots or something?

I am not 100% sure if I have the spell. It seems to be included in the free rules, because I can choose it as a spell that is granted by the subclass.
I am not sure I see the relevant part in your faq, could you list the subsection? I am sorry.
Will try to add it as a feature, but without adding it as a spell choice in the general section, and see if that fixes it, but I think I tried that the first time.
No, beast sense is not free, it’s a PHB exclusive and must be purchased. That’s probably the problem. (Non-free content spells can be added to a subclass in some ways, but not others.) Anyway, here is the relevant section of the FAQ:
If it consumes a spell slot:
In the Spells form you will select the name of the spell you want from the dropdown labeled “Spell,” and then scroll down towards the bottom of the form where you will see two fields labeled “Consumes Spell Slot” and Counts as Known.” Select “Yes” under Consumes Spell Slot and “No” under Counts as Known. l
Fill out the “Ability Score” and “Available at Character Level” fields, leaving every other field blank, and hit [SAVE]. Do that for each spell.
OR if it doesn’t consume a spell slot:
In the Spells form you will select the name of the spell you want from the dropdown labeled “Spell,” and then scroll down towards the bottom of the form where you will see two fields labeled “Consumes Spell Slot” and Counts as Known.” Select “No” under Consumes Spell Slot, and Counts as Known.
Fill out the “Ability Score” and “Available at Character Level” fields, leaving every other field blank, and hit [SAVE]. Do that for each spell.

Thank you very much. I guess that is the issue. I don't know why it was allowing me to pick it in the other section though, maybe it lets you for some reason, since it is only adding it to the list, not directly to the character.
I am trying to create a homebrew ranger subclass.
I am able to add the spell "beast sense" to the list of new spells. In the general options.
However, when I try to add a spell to the section with features, i.e. the feature adding a spell. That spell is not showing up.
Is there any way to fix this?
Buy the spell. Or buy the PHB.
Problem solved.

I am able to add the spell to the subclass as a whole though.
Just not as a feature. To use every short rest or whatever.

If you have purchased access to the spell and it’s not showing up it’s probably because you’re filling in too many fields and it’s restricting your spell choices to match. Please see the Subclasses & Species FAQ #14 for instructions as to how to add the spell properly: (https://www.dndbeyond.com/forums/dungeons-dragons-discussion/homebrew-house-rules/131411-a-homebrewers-how-to-faq).
