The Warrior 1dnd packet was announced to include an overhaul of the weapon system, with unique properties, abilities, and roles associated with each weapon to make them more unique (and hopefully as a buff to martials; it would be nice if these properties were unique to the warrior group). That got me thinking; are any of you using a weapon attribute system in your games?
I am not using one because I don't have a campaign running, but i have a good system in mind for balancing, flavor, and uniqueness. Reply if you want to be told more.

I write homebrew and don't publish it. (evil, I know)

I generally handle this with homebrew magic weapons, although I think you could port over the playtest system pretty painlessly.

(Bard) College of Dance | (Fighter) Warlord | Cannoneer
