Hi all, is there any way to have a subclass feature add a character's proficiency bonus to their initiative? Proficiency is not one of the options for Bonus (only ability scores) and if you choose Proficiency - Initiative, it seems to just overwrite the standard DEX bonus with the proficiency bonus.
But then, I may just be messing up because I'm relatively inexperienced in making custom stuff here.
Kind of a subquestion, if you add a custom subclass to a test character, and you update the subclass, does it automatically update the character sheet or do I need to do something else?
After you add the Modifier you MUST re-save the entire homebrew using the main [SAVE CHANGES] buttons under Basic Information. After that it can sometimes take up to 20 minutes for those changes to push through to the character sheet. You can often speed that up by removing the race, refreshing the page and then adding it back again.

Thanks!
I found a way that works!
Set "Modifier Type" to "Bonus", Set "Modifier Subtype" to "Initiative", Then set "Additional Bonus Type" to "Proficiency Bonus".
Hope this helps!
Some years afetr, but thanks! This was what I was looking for!
Thank you so much. Was struggling with this.
Hate to Necro this, but this isn't working for me. Trying to do a racial ability which grants proficiency to init and I did exactly this.
