This has almost certainly been asked before and I just can't find it, and I apologize for that. I'm well aware that you can't homebrew a class whole cloth, but I'm trying to fake one with feats. I'd have the player trying to use it start as a Warlock since that class has similar hit dice and no weapon, armor, or tool proficiencies that my fake class can't have (since you can't remove those proficiencies). I was wondering if it was possible for a feat to remove access to certain Warlock spells so the player can't use them.
Kind of the opposite question now. I made a feat that just lists the spells they can't pick (ideally I don't have to be hands on for every step of the character creation process so I'm leaving instructions in feats for this fake class) but is there a way to use a feat to add spells to the list of spells a character can pick, rather than just giving them the spell outright?

No. It would have to be done either as part of a subclass or race.

Nope

Hm, well darn. Thank you though.
As GM, just tell them they can't have the spells for XX reason.

It's almost like I'm trying to do something the tools available to me aren't made to do.
