Hi, I got a magic item made for the wizard that gives him a +1 to the saving throws on his spells. Does anyone know what I would need to do to help make it with homebrew options for magic items
It's for his wizard spells it's to help his spellcasting. I can't find anything to help him with it for Dndbeyond but most of his spells have save throw for enemy's and not so many spells with a to hit. The DM and I helped make this weapon for him to give him an advantage on the spells he most uses. Just trying to figure out the best way to make it work for a weapon
If you want to make it effect the saving throws, just make the weapon give +2 to intelligence and set intelligence cap on the weapon to 22. Both are possible with the Homebrew item maker. :)

Probably a bad idea. That would boost a heck of a lot more than just his spell save DC...
If you aren't multiclassed spell caster, you can juat give a bonus to all spell save DCs and it not really be different.

Is it all spells or just Wizard spells? Because there is no modifier (or if there is, it is hidden) for class specific spell saves.
