Your shield can be used for Melee attacks or Ranged (thrown) attacks (20/40) and provides a +2 to AC. When it is thrown your shield returns to your hand immediately after it is used to make a ranged attack.
The damage dealt by your shield is D6 and increases to D8 (5 level), D10 (11 level), D12 (17 level)
Expert Tactician 7 level:
When hit a creature with your shield you can knock the target prone or push the target 10 feet in a direction you choose.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses of it when you finish a long rest.
Super Speed 10 level:
You gain 10 feet to your walking speed
Superior healing 15level:
You gain one additional use of your second wind ability.
Call to arms 18 level:
The Captains call gives all allies within 30 feet advantage on attacks. You can use this feature once, and you regain all expended uses of it when you finish a short or long rest.

Never let a rules lawyer dominate a conversation. Allowing this just takes the fun and joy out of D&D. Be creative, inspiring, and have meaningful discussions!
Because subclasses are not story or lore, they're homebrewed game content. The Story & Lore forum is for stuff about organizations in your world or its history, not stuff that's actual gameplay elements.

Find your own truth, choose your enemies carefully, and never deal with a dragon.
"Canon" is what's factual to D&D lore. "Cannon" is what you're going to be shot with if you keep getting the word wrong.
I'd do this as a magic shield instead of a subclass. The other features are kind of generic and wouldn't feel that different from any other fighter really.
If you want it like thors hammer, the shield has to be a magic item. Which has its pluses, like when you attack creatures with resistance to non-magical damage.

Good point.

Shouldn't this be posted in the Homebrew forum?

I'd make this as a character build rather than a homebrewed subclass.
