I'm looking to create a weapon whose one-handed roll is a 1d6 +1 and two-handed roll is a 1d10. Could someone advise if this is possible, and if so, which settings do I select? Thank you.
I was able to do the former by modifying a scimitar with
Damage.Slashing=1
For the latter, I tried
Weapon_Property.Versatile.STR=1d10
but the two-handed attack reads 1d8.
(Also is there any way to set an item's cost? I've been writing it in the description.)

Thank you! That was instructive. I ended up making a katana using the setup below. The idea is that this katana can be used in two-weapon fighting alongside a shorter blade (daishō style swordfighting for samurais), yet should be more powerful on its own with a two-handed strike.
The damage options look like [1d6+STR], [1 (bonus when single-handed)], and [1d10 (+STR when wielded two-handed)]. The comments in parenthesis are from the modifier details. Is there anyway to change these from text and incorporate them into the main rolls?
[Homebrew Details]
Basic Information:
Rarity=Common
Base_Item_Type=Weapon
Base_Weapon=Scimitar
Modifiers:
Damage.Slashing=1,Details:"bonus when wielded single-handed."
Damage.Slashing=1d10,Details:"+STR or DEX when wielded two-handed."

I’m glad it’s working for you.
It’s not really designed to work that way, what you’re actually doing is setting up something that is supposed to add that damage to a regular damage roll, not replace it. Since they’re not incorporated anyway, and since temporary effects don’t exist on the character sheet yet, this is really just a workaround.
Haha that thread is amazing. I'm going to stay out of it :)
After some more consideration, I dropped the +DEX from the two-handed option and increased the cost of this katana to 50 GP, given its inherent superiority over the base scimitar. This is more of a character-specific RP item than something I'll be handing out to anyone who wants one in my campaign. It pairs with a short wakizashi blade (a repurposed scimitar) for two-weapon combat. Once his character is worthy, I may surprise the samurai with a chance to earn magical pairs - both of which blades must be attuned with via meditations and perhaps further questing in order to master a heavenly sword style, delivering radiant damage. Or maybe he'll go down a darker road... We'll see!

Hi there. I actually just helped someone with this yesterday. You might find helpful information here: https://www.dndbeyond.com/forums/dungeons-dragons-discussion/homebrew-house-rules/69688-making-my-first-bit-more-complicated-magic-items
I hope that is helpful.

I also just use a regular Longsword as a katana. They shouldn’t really have finesse in my opinion. There’s an entire debate about it here: https://www.dndbeyond.com/forums/d-d-beyond-general/general-discussion/9988-1d8-damage-versatile-with-finesse, I’m in the “no” camp.
But I’m glad I could be helpful.
