I have been trying to add ranger subclass spells to my homebrew for a while now. I have added them at the basic information section on the "Additional Specific Spells section." Can cast spells is on. I even put a spellcasting feature in and still not able to. The only way I can get them in makes it so they count as spells you know, but thats not how these spells are supposed to work. They are not supposed to count against that number. How can I do this? I am ready to pull my hair out.
Public Mod Note

Moved to homebrew subforum
You are talking about the additional spells like Gloom Stalker Spells, where they are added to your known spells, correct?
The way I implemented it was in the feature My Subclass Magic, click on the Spell section and Add Spell.
Select the spell you want in the spell box (note you will need to add each spell as their own, not list them all in one) Ability Score: Wis Consumes Spell Slot: Yes Counts as Known Spell: No Available at Character Level: 3/5/etc, depending on the spell.

That worked. Thanks! Such a damn headache, especially since dndbeyond says to do it a completely different way. Such bs.
