I'm going to be using this creature for a campaign, and would like to make sure that it's balanced and has some semblance of quality. Any input would be appreciated!
Why do people think Trueseeing is not super powerful?
I'm not really clear why it would be seen as all that powerful.
I'm of two minds personally; Truesight is powerful because it completely eliminates any attempt to bypass a creature through the use of an illusory disguise, invisibility etc., but that's not necessarily overpowered for an otherwise easy to defeat creature, it just means you have to fight it or find some other means to bypass it.

Hello all! I'm looking for some feedback on my new monster, the Guardian.

I have no personality.
True sight is a bit much. For a CR 1 that is very strong.
The Blinded should probably drop to “Until the end of the Guardian’s next turn.”
The damage type would make more sense as Radiant damage, and maybe dropped to 2d8.

Never ever give a 6th level spell to a creature that is not at least CR 6. That's just silly. Not even 1/day, let alone always on.
Damn it, why do people think Trueseeing is not super powerful?
I'm not really clear why it would be seen as all that powerful.
I removed the truesight. Thanks for the feedback!
