So I've created a race with a few subraces and published it, but I realized that there were a few mistakes. So I made copies of them all to make a version 2 with mistakes fixed and more background info, but now all the copied subraces are now unlinked from the parent race.

That is just another one of the many, many good reasons to never publish a homebrew until you are 1,000% sure that it’s perfect. Always thoroughly playtest and edit all homebrewed content prior to publishing it.
Ummm sorry but I think you linked the subraces to the published parent race and not the version 2 one I'm still working on.
I didn’t link anything. I don’t work here.
You linked the subraces to the parent race when you designed it. You locked that link in place when you published it. If you want those subraces linked to the V2 that you are still working on, you will now need to recreate them from scratch. As I said previously, never publish unless it’s perfect. Published is permanent.
Oh sorry It wasnt linked before I talked to you so I just assumed
Oh they were linked to it alright. That happened the moment you hit “SAVE CHANGES” and became immutable the moment you hit “Share With Comunity.” Something the server has a lag is all.
Nobody can fix this for you. You will have to recreate them from scratch.
No worries neighbor. If you see a post by someone with a black border like ours, we’re just site users. A black border with an orange sword is a Moderator, and a red border is staff.
