He was in the Fall of Gondolin, so it is quite possible, considering how popular he is. Fun Fact: Legolas has been in more Tolkien movies then anyone except Gandalf.
You forget that I too am a legolas super fan. I know man. I know.
I knew you knew. That was just for everyone else who aren't Legolas super-fans.
What's ur fav Legolas moment? Mine's the mumakil/oliphaunt takedown.
When he kills Bolg. "Oh no! Legolas has actually run out of arrows! What's he gonna do now?"
Jump off a 100 foot tower onto the head of a giant, knock said tower down into a bridge with his sword through said giants head, then beat the crap out of the 3rd most important BBEG (Sauron is first, Azaog 2nd).

don't forget that he defies gravity and single handedly takes down like 3 trolls and saves thorin's life (In vain though)

It's kinda sad that he goes to all that trouble and then the dumb dwarf just gets himself killed. No consideration, dwarves. Only think about themselves.
Unless, you're like me, and you consider Eru Iluvatar to be the bigger evil. He created EVERYTHING, so mayhap he can actually fix it too, rather than creating all evil, all dissent, all pain.

I mean in the book he was much less dumb than in the movie. Movie thorin: "Itrapped him under the ice. Better watch him float along for like 5 minutes until he stabs my foot and then kills me."

I personally like the animated hobbit better than the live action hobbit. Opinions?
I say live action Hobbit, because although it has many flaws, it does do one thing I've always wanted: Expanded the Hobbit so we can see all the stuff that happened "offscreen" in the book (all the Gandalf and White Council stuff). And Thranduil and Smaug are a thousand times cooler. And it's got LEGOLAS!!!

True true. I just think it was more classic. it had beautiful artwork I thought and it was so, hmmm, how to say, it just had a feel to it that made me feel, at ease...I guess. It's hard to explain but i liked it.

That was a different Elf. After all, what was a silvan elf whose grandfather was the king of a nation a whole subcontinent away in a sindar-noldor settlement is beyond me... I hope that the show will cover the War of the Elves and Sauron (Tolkien was great at naming wars). It was late enough for numenor to matter but earlier enough that Numenor can still be a home to the protagonist instead of an antagonist. Along with that, you could sprinkle in hints of the king's men faction.

It’s a high possibility that Legolas mom was a Noldor, and it’s confirmed that his dad is Sindar, so it makes perfect sense for Legolas to be there. There’s only so many Legolas Greenleafs with incredibly keen sight in Middle Earth. And Tolkien is constantly dropping hints that Legolas is like older then Elrond.
Isn't Smaug third?
I have a weird sense of humor.
I also make maps.(That's a link)

Although I did think it as very cool to see the exact same sword that was hanging in my room being held by a movie star.
