Question: If you watched The Mandalorian, what was your favorite episode?

I'm right before that Chapter 11, The Heiress. Resolution of the egg subplot, Bo Katan, salty Mon Calamari appalled at Mando's landing effort, Mando's customs being out of sync with prior current canon Mando lore explained, the galactic fishing economy revealed, Ahsoka name drop (I was meh about live action Ahsoka, I mean it's hard to put a cartoon character of her power and ability to screen, I think Ezra will be easier because not quite as gymnastic a Jedi).

Has anyone ever noticed that the stormtrooper armor doesn't actually do much besides slowing the stormtroopers down?

Who would win: one clone trooper, or two Imperial stormtroopers?
Actually not sure. A commando or bad batcher in their prime definitely those operatives. Likely a Clone Trooper vs. a Stormtrooper if this is abstract and we're saying the CT is pre Order 66 (which is chronologically impossible). Gregor himself says the TKs don't have the innate skill/knack of CTs ... he may just be proud but some Clone Troopers were used to train "indigenous" forces during the Clone Wars so can likely surmise who makes good soldier material. After 66, I think we're witnessing in Bad Batch a sort of accelerated decay of the CTs. Look at the Batch themselves, sometimes they're smooth operators but they also seem to get tired easily.

Both Clone and Stormtrooper armor isn't blaster proof, sure. In the various TTRPGs, I always thought the stats for trooper armor gave them a bit too much soak. I don't think the armor is really designed to be blaster proof. Maybe concussion proof, you see at least CTs get knocked down by explosions and get up again, not so much in the movies but you see stormtroopers do this in the cartoons sometimes (my guess is the helmet is an all hazards protection against traumatic brain injury, unless you're Wreckter). I think the suits are supposed to have integrated comms, some optics, probably environmental controls so the trooper is always comfortable, really useful on planets with radical day night temperature fluctuations. And those belts have a lot of utility gear ... probably why Han and Luke kept them on after the trash compactor, not just blaster ammo, probably repair kits for blasters, that line Luke used to swing the chasm on the Death Star, likely a light source, etc.
Basically, real life body armor isn't a complete bullet shield either. Even if you are shot by a caliber within the armor's rating, there's a high likelihood you're going to get hurt. Armor mitigates damage factors in a combat environment, it doesn't eliminate. Vests are also useful for utility/load bearing beyond what's on your belt. If you dig into various SW generations of "technical guides" it's not just the "blaster ablative" potential that the troopers wearing the suit, it's literally all the bells and whistles and compartments. Plus, in a uniformed mass, it's a bit menacing.

Has anybody noticed how stormtroopers have armor that does absolutely nothing to protect them? Like, Somebody wacks them with a gun and they just die.
Exactly what I was saying.

Totally! So far, we have a Captain Rex, like 4 Council members, and a Mandalorian. What do you want to be?
Hmm... How about a Sith Lord? Such as Darth Maul, perhaps.
maybe, maybe not. since all of the people here's characters are republic aligned it might not make sense
