Holy Vestige. The brightspark can sense the location and alignment of each celestial or fiend within 30 feet of it.
Illumination. The brightspark sheds bright light in a 10-foot radius and dim light in an additional 10 ft.
Incorporeal Movement. The brightspark can move through other creatures and objects as if they were difficult terrain. It takes 2 (1d4) force damage if it ends its turn inside an object.
Actions
Angelic Touch. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d6 + 3) radiant damage.
Lost Memories (Recharge 5-6). The brightspark imparts a vision of its past life upon a creature within 30 feet of it, granting them knowledge and strength. The creature gains 5 (2d4) temporary hit points, and has advantage on the next attack roll or ability check it makes.
Description
When an angel dies outside their home plane, their deity can choose to revive them as a brightspark, a luminous white flame containing their personality and wisdom. These brightsparks don't retain almost any of the memories of the past life, but instead consist of the core emotions of who the angel was. In time, a brightspark can ascend, becoming an angel once more, but this process take hundreds, if not thousands of years.
VARIANT: SPELLCASTING BRIGHTSPARKS Some brightsparks retain the spellcasting abilities of their previous form. A brightspark's spellcasting ability is Intelligence (spell save DC 13). A brightspark can cast the spells below, depending on its previous form.
