It’s weird. I’m scared of spiders irl but I’m drawn to their cunning and scheming ways in RP. They do bring good luck though, at least in China, probably cause they eat other annoying insects.
One time in a one shot game I played a drow priestess of Lolth who hatched a plot to turn all the guys in some town on Toril into driders with the stats of giant wolf spiders (including venom and jumping ability). It didn’t work, but it was fun trying 😊. Does that count as an evil plan?

Thank you for helping me realize what character I want to play. What would Lolth be considered? A fiend, celestial, or something else?

Lolth is one of those grey areas in that it's never explained what she is, truly. My guess is she's in between demon lord and goddess, but I can't really be sure.

I assume celestial, since it explicitly says she's a 'Goddess'.

She was once a goddess of the Seldarine who fell from grace and became a demon lord. She’s still the patron goddess of the drow Matriarchs of Menzoberranzan (can’t spell lol).

So she's a demon to most, but a goddess to drow? (It's alright, copy-paste is the way to go when you don't know if you spelled something right.)

Just played a campaign where my character ruined the entire financial economy of a large city by selling out the black market and buying all the businesses. He then made terrible financial decisions and destroyed the whole town. It was quite fun.

Very cool 😊. I try to keep economics out of my games cause on a fundamental level I just don’t get it, but that sounds like fun.
Here is my evil plot/one-shot campaign worthy of becoming at least a Whip Spider.
So your players somehow end up in a little pocket dimension with a small village, a lake, and a mountain. The villagers (humans or elves) say a powerful spirit capable of planar transporting dwells atop the mountain, but it will only do so if it is given the prized Spider Crown. The thing is, the players are in a mimic colony, and the villagers are doppelgangers. The spirit is actually a beholder, and it will try to kill them. Slight Wizard of Oz twist when the party discovers the Spider Crown has the power to take them home. Still, you can trap them in a dark room that's trying to eat them, and that would be fun.
P.S. Spider Dance is our clan's rickroll.
P.P.S. Not actually a huge fan of spiders, but maybe that's just opilliones.

Hi, I am not a chest. I deny with 100% certainty that I am a chest. I can neither confirm nor deny what I am beyond that.
I used to portray Krathian, Q'ilbrith, Jim, Tara, Turin, Nathan, Tench, Finn, Alvin, and other characters in various taverns.
I also do homebrew, check out my Spells and Magic Items
