After securely hiding his journal (not gonna say where ;)) and using many measures to lock his door, Thirteen and Caramel head back down to the ground floor. Thirteen sits at a table and begins critically analyzing everyone in the room. Caramel the Undead Cat curls up near the hearth and gives a spine-tingling, fear-inducing meow of contentment.
