Vega is eating lunch, dressed in a more casual outfit than usual
Azazel is sitting on the roof, a cigarette in his hand, though its unlit
Avery is sitting in a corner, curled up in the fetal position, mumbling something to himself repeatedly
Alright, let's see if I can undo some of the damage I've done to this kid. Phantom Thinks to himself, before thinking a bit as to which spells may be able to help.
Phantom walks over the Avery cautiously. "I'm sorry for what I did to you yesterday. I want to try and undo what I did to you, if you will allow it." The sadness in his tone and on his face are obvious.
Avery backs up as far as he can, his back against the wall
"I'm truly sorry Avery. I just want to try and undo some of the harm I did. Will you please let me try?"
"I-i-i g-gave back t-the item, p-please d-don't do i-it again"
"I know you did. I saw. I'm so sorry Avery. Will you let me try and help undo what I did? Please?" Phantom's voice is filled with sadness, and its tone is actually a bit pleading.
Avery just looks up at him, scared
"Please Avery? If you don't want me to, I'll let you be, but I want to help."
"W-what c-c-can you do t-to help."
"I think I have a few spells that may be able to help erase that memory from you, or at the very least ease the pain it, and I, caused. The problem is that for at least one of them I need to be touching you, so I want your permission to try and help."
Avery hesitates before nodding a little
Phantom breaths a relieved sigh. "Thank you, Avery. Again, I'm sorry about what I did. I only intended to scare you into giving it back. I didn't mean to scare you this much." With that, Phantom backs up a bit, and his eyes roll back in their sockets a little, as though he's trying to remember something. A few moments later, he smiles, and nods. "Alright, first up is a greater restoration. It may or may not work, but I want to try the safer options first."
"O-ok. go ahead."
"Alright, here we go." Phantom moves a little closer, and lays a hand gently on Avery's head. A wave of cooling, refreshing energy washes through Avery's mind, almost felling as though it is searching for the memories and pain in Avery's mind. Eventually, the energy recedes.
"How do you feel now Avery?" Phantom asks, the concern genuine in his voice. "Did that help? If not, I have a few other things I can try."
"It didn't do much."
"Hmmm..." Phantom seems a bit confused, but not entirely surprised. "Well, the next option is one I didn't want to have to use, but it's the next safest, and honestly most likely to succeed, as long as I word it properly." With that, he pulls a single, seemingly plain ring out of a pocket and slips in onto one of his fingers. "I've had this ring for many years, but it only has three uses. It is a Ring of Three Wishes, and with it, I can cast a Wish spell, which when worded properly, should indeed remove that memory from your mind. If it fails, I'm honestly not sure what will."
Thirteen walks over to Azazel. "Hey Azazel, want some soup?" He holds out a bowl of lentil soup. "I got the recipe from Tasha when I had lunch with her."
"Um... no thanks. I don't know who tasha is, but i'm not hungry."
Thirteen is astonished. "Tasha? The Witch-queen? AKA Natasha the Dark, AKA Iggwilv, AKA like a bajillion other things?? I believe she may have had a major crush on me at that lunch, that's why I used the plane shift spell..." He chuckles. "Aye, well if you're not hungry, perhaps I should be going. Unless you'd like to talk more... I usually only have the stars for company at this time..."
"Not sure if you know this, but whatever 'lore' is in this realm, i know nothing about it. Grew up somewhere else."
"Tasha's all around, mostly based in the Feywild... where did you grow up?"
"I grew up in california. Mostly near redwood forests."
"Earth? I've been to Earth. Got a lot of problems, but not even Eberron has Undertale..." He grins.
"It is a pretty good game. Wait, you have a way to earth?"
"Yeah...?"
"Not that its not nice here, but i left my phone at home. How do you do it?"
Thirteen points at the void wall. "Juuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuust a seconnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd....... There!" A portal to California appears.
*lol never thought I'd say that*
"...huh." Azazel murmers
"Well?"
"Was it seriously that easy?"
"Nope. This will take me to the garage of my friend Mantelin. He can get us a spelljammer, and then all we have to look out for is elder evils..."
"I'm not looking for elder evils man."
"It's a joke... Mantelin will be on board... We should be fine."
"Great. How exactly did you get in contact with earth?"
"I've been alive 219 years, I've been everywhere."
"219 isn't a lot."
"You're right. I've barely even started on the Outer Planes! Now come on, you want your phone or not?"
"Sure," Azazel hops off the roof, landing with only a minor crunch as he heads towards the portal
"Are... are you okay?"
"What do you mean?"
"That crunching. You sprained your ankle, I believe."
"I'm fine, can walk fine."
"You sure? Well, we better hurry or the portal might close. And Mantelin isn't a huge fan of humans, seeing as he's a yugoloth..."
"Sure," Azazel goes through the portal, "Whats a yugoloth?"
"Fiends. Usually hired, but Mantelin is a good(ish) guy who makes spelljammers."
"Why do we need to grab a spelljammer?"
"It can take you from one crystal sphere to another."
"Why do we need that?"
"I can't travel that easily between planes. Mantelin is still on this plane."
Thirteen walks over to Azazel. "Hey Azazel, want some soup?" He holds out a bowl of lentil soup. "I got the recipe from Tasha when I had lunch with her."

"Basically, it's a safe, but expensive, option so long as I word it correctly. Wish is the most powerful spell any mortal being can cast, allowing me to do basically anything, but I can only do it three times, ever, courtesy of this ring."

"???" Confused avery is confused
"Basically, it's a safe, but expensive, option so long as I word it correctly. Wish is the most powerful spell any mortal being can cast, allowing me to do basically anything, but I can only do it three times, ever, courtesy of this ring."
"....ok?"
"Alright, let's do this then." Phantom takes a deep sigh, and rubs the sides of the ring, causing it to glow slightly. "I wish that Avery didn't remember the vision I gave him. I wish to take back what I did to him." With that, the glow coming from his ring intensifies, and flashes blindingly, the light seeming to pierce Avery's mind searching out the memories and burning them out, leaving no trace of it at all.
Avery blinks a couple times, looking around, "What? Where??"
"Hello Avery. My name's Phantom. How are you feeling?"
