Phantom gently shifts back to his moon elf form, and grabs it, opening and reading it.
It reads, Your son is gone. Taken by a fiend. To find him again find the bickering dwarf and half-elf and they shall lead you to the child in chains.
Phantom's eyes light on fire, promising death to whatever it is that took Albwin. He looks back at the sleeping Caelum, and lets her rest. I have ways to contact her if I need her. He thinks to himself. With that, he walks towards the tavern, eyes still ablaze with rage, and determined to find the pair mentioned.
Near the back of the tavern a half-elf bearded devil and old dwarf are arguing. A map lays between them
Phantom stalks towards them, his eyes still ablaze. When he reaches them, he slams the note on the table with enough force that it actually causes cracks in it. His eyes are filled with rage and a hint of desperation.

*The table isnt damaged. Blessing*
*Right... Well, then with enough force that there should've been cracks, lol*
Thirteen reenters the tavern, with a large amount of gaping wounds, including one all the way through his torso. He is carrying a cracked mace, and the dirty old robes he's wearing are torn and bloody. "Hello everyone, whad I miss?" Thirteen say weakly, before passing out.

Alric hastily rolls up the map.

Theren reads it quickly and shows it to Alric. Once the dwarf has read it Theren hands it back to Phantom.
"Ok. We can help but we need more people than just us three."

Oval is napping happily but secretly they were fearing more bad dreams.
Adder is chasing down a mugger who took his rings from him. He was currently beating the (GP) out of the guy.
The nightmare returns, accompanied by Bill's mad laughter.
Oval seems to form a weapon in their hand from molded air
"Oho, clever. You sleep a lot, can't blame me for wanting to fill my nightmare quota." Bill holds out his hand, wreathed in blue fire. "Thought any about my deal?"
"Don't. Touch. Me." They hiss.
"I'm not, I'm not. Look, I'll stop the nightmares if you give me a puppet. It's not too much to ask!" Bill looks sad. "Now youve hurt my feelings..."
"LEAVE ME ALONE!!" they scream
"No" Bill says smugly.
Lhurr walks over, muttering some words under his breath, re-casting Mind Blank on Oval. "She is under my protection, fiend." He growls, the gems in the skull on his staff glowing a deep, angry red.
Oval narrows their eyes, the air-weapon fading from their grasp
Lhurr snarls. "Be glad you are inside the protection field. You don't know what I'm capable of, fiend. I could make you feel more pain than you ever have before.: With that, he reaches down, scoops up Oval, and walks away from Bill.
A whisper permeates the mind of everyone in the tavern. You can't stop me. I am a being of pure energy with no weaknesses. Bill narrows his eye and vanishes.
Oval snarls, tail thrashing
Full of fire... but I know things that would quench the fire soon. Ssssssoon... you will all know the power of weirdness...
Lhurr gently starts shushing Oval. Calm down, little one. I won't let him hurt you.
"I just wanna sleep" they said, they sound incredibly tired.
"I know, little one, I know." Lhurr starts gently rocking Oval in his arms, acting surprisingly gently for an orc, let alone an orc as big as he is.

"Forgive the mess, I am trying to regain my sanity again."
Thirteen reenters the tavern, with a large amount of gaping wounds, including one all the way through his torso. He is carrying a cracked mace, and the dirty old robes he's wearing are torn and bloody. "Hello everyone, whad I miss?" Thirteen say weakly, before passing out.
Soldaer walks outside. "I take it that you're ready to start training, E?"
*Also time for that thing soon then...*
"Always ready"
Soldaer smiles and holds out his hand. "Then let's go." Once E takes his hand, he leads her into the woods, although not too deep.
She looks around, slowly remembering a few things of the last time she was here
Soldaer lets go of her hand and turns to her. "First things first, ranger, or druid? The first lesson will be the same, but where we go from there will be different."
"What would the main differences be? Im thinking ranger, currently"
"Ranger is more how to fight and protect people from the creatures of the wild, and how to track both people and creatures. Druid would be how to use the power of nature against your enemies, as well as how to peacefully coexist with it."
"Probably ranger, then. Tracking would be useful"
Soldaer smiles and nods. "Very well. Like I said, lesson one is the same either way: the names of the creatures deal with, both plant and animal." With that, he starts naming off every single plant and creature within sight, in addition to explaining the basics of each, such us friendly or not (or edible, inedible, or poisonous in the case of Flaura).
She nods "Ive read on many of them before"
Soldaer laughs. "Then I guess I don't really need to go much further on that part of lesson one. The second part is how to understand and learn the properties of any new wildlife or plant life you come across." Another, shorter lecture begins, including examples. "With both plant and animal life, more often than not, bright colors are a warning that it is dangerous or poisonous. There are some false warnings, but that would be more important if you were going the route of being a druid."
"I see... Interesting..."
Soldaer smiles. "Indeed. And, if in doubt, observe. If something is able to eat a brightly-colored plant, or an animal with such colors seems harmless, they are probably safe."
Soldaer stretches a little. "That's it for lesson one. Would you like to continue, or wait until tomorrow to continue?"
"Probably just continue"
Soldaer seems very happy at that response. "Very well. Lesson two is how to track, and how to be stealthy while tracking someone or something." He looks around for an appropriate set of tracks, before spotting some bear tracks. He points to them. "You should know what left these tracks, and direction it was going, as it's easy to tell right now because the ground is wet and holds tracks well. Let's follow it and see where they lead." Soldaer stands up, "But first, you need to know how to move almost completely silently, as most animals will quickly run if they sense you, and most humanoids will either run or fight if they know they are being tracked." With that, Soldaer starts to demonstrate the proper means to move quietly, starting with walking toe-heel instead of heel-toe like most people do.
*Ha! Her dex is -1* She tries, but it isnt very close to silent at all
*Oooofff.... lol. Meanwhile, Soldaer is sitting here with maxed Dex and Wis. And Soldaer's basically teaching her Nature, Stealth, and Survival, lol. Just realized that.*
Soldaer chuckles a bit at her attempts. "Alright... let's move on, E, to tracking." He gestures back to the bear tracks. "Like I said, when the ground is wet, tracks are easier to find, but if you know how to look, you can track across any terrain, aside from pure rock, although even there, there will be clues as to the directions your quarry is going." Soldaer start going in the basics of tracking, such as looking for disturbed ground or plants, recently broken branches, displaced rocks and branches, etc. (Yes, he's good, but Yazrin is better. Yazrin has freaking expertise in all three of these skills, lol)
*E has max int, 18 wis and con, 16 cha, 8 str, 9 dex* She listens carefully, absorbing everything told to her

when it's least expected the sound dishes falling is heard next to her, but extremely loud, like a tower of plates fell onto spikes.
She freezes, then starts looking legitimately ticked off, still in her bench pressing position.
*Skull_Kid_Laugh.mp3*
*She know infernal?* Next to here the is the sound of a low voice talking in infernal.
*No.*
She twirls the trunk around her, still lying down. *It's a good 10-15 foot trunk.*
*I only had him like 11 ft. away my god.* "GHLL-" is heard with a thick WHAM near the end of the trunk & dirt kicks up like a humanoid was shoved into it about 5 ft. away from the impact.
She chuckled and got up, walking over to where the dirt was kicked up. "You done?"

*E has max int, 18 wis and con, 16 cha, 8 str, 9 dex* She listens carefully, absorbing everything told to her
*Nice! I got insanely good rolls for Soldaer: 15 strength, max Dex, 15 con, 15, intelligence, Max wisdom, and 14 charisma.*
Soldaer smiles when he's done. "Now, if you're up for it, a real test for tracking. I want you to try and track me, if you think you're up for it."
"I can definitely try my best" She smiles. Roll insight
Allison was sitting in the clouds above the tavern. She was watching the blue sky filled with sunshine.
Adder was walking back with a dead body dragged behind him. He looked rather beat up.
Oval was trying to nap without nightmares.
Thara sees this, draw her longsword, "WHAT IN THE GOOD HEAVANS! EXPLAIN AT ONCE!"
Adder waves and smiles "He mugged me"
". . ., you cannot be smiling, ABOUT MURDER!! Where are the authorities here?"
He shrugs "I mostly listen to Azazel"
"don't care, I'm tak-... there's no jail here is there. no dungeon, *BIG sigh* Despite them mugging you, they were a person, they could have learned what to do with their life instead of stealing, but not anymore, because you took petty revenge. Even if they do wrong they can learn the right, & live a happy life, now they die a criminal." She sheethes her sword and walks away in disgust.

*And with that, I must leave for lunch! >:D*
I am an Arachpriest, Cat Cultist, Sauce Monk, Angel of Death, and First Spinjitzu Master.
I play Thirteen the necromancer elf, Timber the tabaxi child, and more at the tavern. Hope you like yams!

Theren reads it quickly and shows it to Alric. Once the dwarf has read it Theren hands it back to Phantom.
"Ok. We can help but we need more people than just us three."

"I know, little one, I know." Lhurr starts gently rocking Oval in his arms, acting surprisingly gently for an orc, let alone an orc as big as he is.

Phantom smiles. "I'm a Greatwyrm, and my mate is another. Is that enough firepower?"

One of Phantom's eyebrows goes up. What. Has. My. SON!? His voice, like his eyes, is a mixture of sheer rage and a hint of desperation.

Lhurr chuckles a bit quietly, and lays Oval back down on the couch. "Sleep well, little one. I'll be right here."
