She looks over at her.
Sharlene looks over and nods coolly.
The next second she's right beside her, "Hello again."
"Hey, Skele-bird."
"Stop calling me that."
"How come? I don't even know if you got a name or not."
"Thaemrys."
"I'll call you Rys." She sipped from her bottle.
"I like that." She ends the shadow effect on her mask right now, making it so its possible to see her face under the mask.
"So, what do you want?"
"To... 'hang out'?"
"I thought you didn't like me."
"You at least accept that death will happen, not the fact that it happens when it happens, but that's good enough I suppose."
"Yeah, but why would a Skele-bird wanna hang with the one who beat their [1gp]?"
"My name is Thaemrys & I didn't take that personally, It was an attempt to get my point across."
Sharlene chuckled. "Guess you failed at that bit, then, Rys."
She puts her scythe down, sits next to it & Sharlene, & puts her hood down, moving her mask up as she does. "I guess I did." She sounds more casual than normal.
"What's with this change?"
"I'm still annoyed that you don't accept death how it is but you're really the only person I know nearby that I can just, relax with like this. If you're fine with it."
"Yeah, I don't care. You want me to get ya a drink?"
"Sure," She smiles.
"Alright, I'll be right back." Sharlene jumped from the roof, lands on the ground, and disappears into the tavern.
She stretches her back & pulls out a brass locket from her cloak, opening it & looking at it while she waits.
After a bit, Sharlene walks back out with a basket and, in one jump, hops up to the roof, landing nimbly on the ledge. "Here ya go." She pulled a bottle of ale from the basket and tossed it over.

Zenix is walking quietly through the forest near the tree, twirling his mask on a finger (Since its off for once)
Hunter comes #outofnowhere, and scoops up lore, "Good morning thick tiefling"
Yuri watches him and drops the book on him.
Lore yelps in fright for a minute before chuckling "You are so mean for doing that"
the book lands on his head, "What the?" He looks up at her, sighing, and going to put the mask on (Want his description without the mask?)
"I apologies." He says with a smile, "This is what i know as 'A practical greeting"

She waves and smiles slyly.
"Its ok" she chuckles and hugs him "I just got startled"

He's changed a bit since she last saw him without the mask, which was well over a few years ago. His sharp features have grown a bit softer, his hair has been cut to a shorter length, and his eyes.... they used to be a vibrant blue. Now, they're a bit duller, a black ring around the blue color
Zenix pauses for a moment, keeping the mask off, before waving back
"That is good," Hunter returns the hugs
She jumps down with the agility and grace of a squirrel. "How are you today?" she askes.
Lore smiles "How are you today?"
"I'm alright," He says, unsure what to do, given the fact this is the first time he's been caught without the mask
"I am doing good." He says, kissing her cheek, "How are you?"
She pokes the mask and attempts to snatch it off his face (DEX: Dice rolls not yet available for this section. )
"Sleepy" she said "I slept a bit this morning but im always tired"

"Hmm," Hunter nods, heating up just a bit. Enough to be comfy, without being overwhelmingly hot, "Would you like to take a nap?"

"Ill be fine" she said and chuckled, leaning close to him.
She's able to snatch the mask with little trouble, "Wha? Hey!" Zenix trys grabbing the mask back, a bit annoyed (Imma say easy fail, he's not as dexterous as her)
"Very well," Hunter says, sitting on the grass with her in his arms
She smiles, examining the mask, "why do you use this?" she asks.
She smiles and watches the clouds.
"Its my pact. Now give it back yuri," He says,
Hunter looks up at the sky, "The stars are nice."
She grins "Whats the magic word?"
*ah yes, stars in the afternoon* She chuckles, you can see past the clouds and such?

"Forgive the mess, I am trying to regain my sanity again."
*Gonna do a slight timewarp since Chris went offline, and Shardia was helping Soldaer with the packing and relocation of his and Nia's stuff.*
Soldaer's in the master bedroom, all the chests and cabinets open as he starts putting things in the right places. All of the heads of various creatures are mounted back on the wall above the fireplace where they belong. A portable hole is in the center of the room, filled with clothes, treasures, magic items, etc. Lying right on the top of the pile are a circlet and diadem made of silver and mithral. Four bags of holding are on the bed, each of them open to reveal different contents.
Nia looks at the bags, "Hope thats everything."
*Nia's never seen her diadem, has she?*
Soldaer looks back at her. "Should be just about everything" He says with a smile.
*Nope*
"Woo! Gotta just finish moving in."
Soldaer stands up from the portable hole and moves over to the bags, giving Nia a perfect view of what's inside the hole. He goes and starts unpacking the first bag he grabs, which happens to be the one with all the liquors and glasses in it. "Yep. Also need to finish a little bit of furniture, but yeah, we're basically moved in, my love." He says, looking over at her with a smile, the gold in his eyes sparkling.
"New home, new safe life," she smiles, "New family."
Soldaer smiles warmly. "Indeed. I'm going to have Atemos help me set up some more wards, so we basically have the same protections we did in our room at the Tavern." He walks over and kisses her tenderly. "You going to stand there looking beautiful, or are you going to help me move us in fully?" he asks her teasingly.
"Hey, i'm the pregnant one," she says, even though she's barely a week along.
Soldaer laughs. "You're right dear, you shouldn't be moving stuff. Heck, you probably shouldn't even be moving around." He says, suddenly feigning worry. He chuckles. "You aren't that far along yet, Nia. You don't have to worry too much about harming our child yet." He smiles. "C'mon, you can help me a bit. Besides, this isn't my stuff anymore, it's OUR stuff." He says with a wink and a laugh.
"I knoooowww," She smiles, "Just being a bit hard on ya. I can lift fine." She says, coming over to the stuff to help unpack
Soldaer laughs, and gives her another quick kiss. "Do you want to handle to bags, or do you want to start on the portable hole?"
"I can do the bags first," She says, returning his kiss
Soldaer smiles. "You know where everything goes, I think. I know one of those is filled with my stash of liquor. Didn't want to leave that behind, now did I?" He says with a slight grin.
"Alright. COurse, a few of your bottles may go 'missing', i'll keep an eye out," She says with a wink, before pulling items out of the bag
Soldaer laughs as he moves over to the portable hole and starts pulling things out and putting them away. The circlet and diadem get set on the bed for the time being as Soldaer starts taking other things out to put away.
Nia, after a bit of putting things in the bags in the right places, looks at the circlet and diadem, picking them up gently
Both are made of silver and Mithral, and designed to look like laurel crowns. The circlet is slighter larger, and both have emeralds for the leaves, and the diadem has flowers made of various other gems, including corundum, beryl, and garnet.
Soldaer looks over and smiles. "I see you found your diadem, my love."
"My? THis is... beautiful..." She murmers, looking over at him
Soldaer smiles. "Not more beautiful than you, my love." He says, his eyes turning almost pure gold. "It'll look perfect on you."
"Awww, thanks sol... i... i don't know what to say." She smiles brightly
He smiles. "You've already said all that needs said, including the words I've wanted to hear from you for far too long, my love. I think only one thing remains: should we wear them during the ceremony?" His eyes are still practically glowing.

Soldaer stands up and turns around. "I could use it. Trying to relocate all my items. Just grew a home for me and my fiancé, and need to move all our stuff there."
"I see.. Congratulations on that. I believe I could help get some of it... What is your name, and how much needs to be moved?'
He smiles. "To answer your first question, I am Soldaer Torrae, Twilight Elf ranger of Mielikki and Druid of Eilistraee. To answer your second one, everything but the furniture. I have a portable hole and a few bags of holding, which will definitely make it easier."
"Alright..." She draws a few cards "I can likely grab whatever you cant fit"
He smiles again. "Thank you..." He pauses. "What's your name?"
"You may call me Shardia."
"Pleasure to meet you, Shardia." Soldaer smiles. He turns back to moving everything into the hole and bags.
She seems to wait until each is full, before separating one of her cards from the others in her hand
The Hole fills up surprisingly fast with clothes, gold, magic items, even a silver circlet and diadem. One of the bags of holding gets filled with various liquors and glasses.
"Is that all you can fit?" She looks around, beginning to gather up what remains together
He tosses a second bag of holding over to her. "Not quite. There's a chest of food over there, although not all of that is needed." He points to a chest by the doorway. "I've got some things I need to get out of the desks and nightstands, and then we should have most of the important stuff."
She begins to fill the bag "I am able to carry more, if theres anything you want to bring"
Soldaer smiles. He pulls another portable hole out of one of his pockets walks over to the mantle and starts removing the items from it, including the heads that were mounted on the wall. "Can you help me get the dragon head in here? It's a bit too heavy and big for just me."
She takes a card between 2 fingers, flinging it towards the ground. Its in... Strange text, bit the title line reads 'Animate Artifact'. The dragon head seems to levitate itself off the wall slowly, floating next to Shardia
Soldaer smiles. "Very useful. Similar to a Deck of Many Things, I take it?"
She shakes her head "Very different. This one is much more controlled. Safer"
"Interesting. You'll have to tell me more about it at some point." He removes the owlbear heads from the mantle and puts them in the hole, before moving onto the purple worm, which he grunts slightly under its weight, but he manages to get it in.
"Whered you get these tropheys?"
"I killed them. I keep them to remind me of what I've overcome to become who I am."
"Did.you have reason for each? Or are you a hunter?"
"I'm a warrior, and protector of my people. Each of them attacked me, one of my people, or the village as a whole."
"I see... Who do you identify as your people?"
"Well, seeing as I am the crown prince of the Twilight Elves..." He chuckles. "Mainly the Twilight Elves, but anyone who finds shelter in it forest is under my protection."

He smiles. "To answer your first question, I am Soldaer Torrae, Twilight Elf ranger of Mielikki and Druid of Eilistraee. To answer your second one, everything but the furniture. I have a portable hole and a few bags of holding, which will definitely make it easier."
"Alright..." She draws a few cards "I can likely grab whatever you cant fit"
He smiles again. "Thank you..." He pauses. "What's your name?"
"You may call me Shardia."
"Pleasure to meet you, Shardia." Soldaer smiles. He turns back to moving everything into the hole and bags.
She seems to wait until each is full, before separating one of her cards from the others in her hand
The Hole fills up surprisingly fast with clothes, gold, magic items, even a silver circlet and diadem. One of the bags of holding gets filled with various liquors and glasses.
"Is that all you can fit?" She looks around, beginning to gather up what remains together
He tosses a second bag of holding over to her. "Not quite. There's a chest of food over there, although not all of that is needed." He points to a chest by the doorway. "I've got some things I need to get out of the desks and nightstands, and then we should have most of the important stuff."
She begins to fill the bag "I am able to carry more, if theres anything you want to bring"
Soldaer smiles. He pulls another portable hole out of one of his pockets walks over to the mantle and starts removing the items from it, including the heads that were mounted on the wall. "Can you help me get the dragon head in here? It's a bit too heavy and big for just me."
She takes a card between 2 fingers, flinging it towards the ground. Its in... Strange text, bit the title line reads 'Animate Artifact'. The dragon head seems to levitate itself off the wall slowly, floating next to Shardia
Soldaer smiles. "Very useful. Similar to a Deck of Many Things, I take it?"
She shakes her head "Very different. This one is much more controlled. Safer"
"Interesting. You'll have to tell me more about it at some point." He removes the owlbear heads from the mantle and puts them in the hole, before moving onto the purple worm, which he grunts slightly under its weight, but he manages to get it in.
"Whered you get these tropheys?"
"I killed them. I keep them to remind me of what I've overcome to become who I am."
"Did.you have reason for each? Or are you a hunter?"
"I'm a warrior, and protector of my people. Each of them attacked me, one of my people, or the village as a whole."
"I see... Who do you identify as your people?"
"Well, seeing as I am the crown prince of the Twilight Elves..." He chuckles. "Mainly the Twilight Elves, but anyone who finds shelter in it forest is under my protection."
She nods. Roll insight

"In a few ways, I believe so."
Soldaer smiles slightly. "I won't press you, although I am curious." He finishes removing the heads and other items from the mantle, and then folds up the portable hole. "That should be just about everything. If you want to head on outside, I'll be out shortly. There's one last thing I need to do."
She nods "Alright. Ill be waiting to serve however I may to help"

Gust is hanging upside down in a tree behind the tavern.
Sharlene is drinking a bottle of ale nearby.
Nerima is playing with some bones on a table.
Teruo is passed out on a couch... still.
She looks over at her.
Sharlene looks over and nods coolly.
The next second she's right beside her, "Hello again."
"Hey, Skele-bird."
"Stop calling me that."
"How come? I don't even know if you got a name or not."
"Thaemrys."
"I'll call you Rys." She sipped from her bottle.
"I like that." She ends the shadow effect on her mask right now, making it so its possible to see her face under the mask.
"So, what do you want?"
"To... 'hang out'?"
"I thought you didn't like me."
"You at least accept that death will happen, not the fact that it happens when it happens, but that's good enough I suppose."
"Yeah, but why would a Skele-bird wanna hang with the one who beat their [1gp]?"
"My name is Thaemrys & I didn't take that personally, It was an attempt to get my point across."
Sharlene chuckled. "Guess you failed at that bit, then, Rys."
She puts her scythe down, sits next to it & Sharlene, & puts her hood down, moving her mask up as she does. "I guess I did." She sounds more casual than normal.
"What's with this change?"
"I'm still annoyed that you don't accept death how it is but you're really the only person I know nearby that I can just, relax with like this. If you're fine with it."
"Yeah, I don't care. You want me to get ya a drink?"
"Sure," She smiles.
"Alright, I'll be right back." Sharlene jumped from the roof, lands on the ground, and disappears into the tavern.
She stretches her back & pulls out a brass locket from her cloak, opening it & looking at it while she waits.
After a bit, Sharlene walks back out with a basket and, in one jump, hops up to the roof, landing nimbly on the ledge. "Here ya go." She pulled a bottle of ale from the basket and tossed it over.
She closes & puts away the locket once she hears the door open, and catches the bottle when it's tossed, "Thank you."
"No problem, Skele-bird." Sharlene chuckled and sat back down, pulling another, slightly bigger, bottle from the basket and drinking it for herself.
She shakes her head some at skele-bird but has some for herself "hooh, been quite the time since I've had alcohol."
"Oh shush." He says putting it in the nearest unoccupied tree, before turning back and saying "At least five pranks without you scalding me." To Thara as he passes, her rolling her eyes in response.
The bird flies onto a branch and looks at Thara.
"See, now people won't be in the way of your nest." She smiles.
The bird flutters around and lands on the branch nearest to Thara.
"What do you want little birdie?" She tilts her head.
The bird stares back.
"Thara why are you doing this you don't have any magic that allows you to talk to animals." She says to herself.
11. The weak swordsman clings to his instrument. It is better you have a sword, but death must lie under your fingernails, if need be. Learn death with your elbows, death with your knees, and death with your thumbs and fingertips. It is said death with the tongue is useful, but I find words too soft an instrument to smash a man’s skull.
*Gonna do a slight timewarp since Chris went offline, and Shardia was helping Soldaer with the packing and relocation of his and Nia's stuff.*
Soldaer's in the master bedroom, all the chests and cabinets open as he starts putting things in the right places. All of the heads of various creatures are mounted back on the wall above the fireplace where they belong. A portable hole is in the center of the room, filled with clothes, treasures, magic items, etc. Lying right on the top of the pile are a circlet and diadem made of silver and mithral. Four bags of holding are on the bed, each of them open to reveal different contents.
Nia looks at the bags, "Hope thats everything."
*Nia's never seen her diadem, has she?*
Soldaer looks back at her. "Should be just about everything" He says with a smile.
*Nope*
"Woo! Gotta just finish moving in."
Soldaer stands up from the portable hole and moves over to the bags, giving Nia a perfect view of what's inside the hole. He goes and starts unpacking the first bag he grabs, which happens to be the one with all the liquors and glasses in it. "Yep. Also need to finish a little bit of furniture, but yeah, we're basically moved in, my love." He says, looking over at her with a smile, the gold in his eyes sparkling.
"New home, new safe life," she smiles, "New family."
Soldaer smiles warmly. "Indeed. I'm going to have Atemos help me set up some more wards, so we basically have the same protections we did in our room at the Tavern." He walks over and kisses her tenderly. "You going to stand there looking beautiful, or are you going to help me move us in fully?" he asks her teasingly.
"Hey, i'm the pregnant one," she says, even though she's barely a week along.
Soldaer laughs. "You're right dear, you shouldn't be moving stuff. Heck, you probably shouldn't even be moving around." He says, suddenly feigning worry. He chuckles. "You aren't that far along yet, Nia. You don't have to worry too much about harming our child yet." He smiles. "C'mon, you can help me a bit. Besides, this isn't my stuff anymore, it's OUR stuff." He says with a wink and a laugh.
"I knoooowww," She smiles, "Just being a bit hard on ya. I can lift fine." She says, coming over to the stuff to help unpack
Soldaer laughs, and gives her another quick kiss. "Do you want to handle to bags, or do you want to start on the portable hole?"
"I can do the bags first," She says, returning his kiss
Soldaer smiles. "You know where everything goes, I think. I know one of those is filled with my stash of liquor. Didn't want to leave that behind, now did I?" He says with a slight grin.
"Alright. COurse, a few of your bottles may go 'missing', i'll keep an eye out," She says with a wink, before pulling items out of the bag
Soldaer laughs as he moves over to the portable hole and starts pulling things out and putting them away. The circlet and diadem get set on the bed for the time being as Soldaer starts taking other things out to put away.
Nia, after a bit of putting things in the bags in the right places, looks at the circlet and diadem, picking them up gently
Both are made of silver and Mithral, and designed to look like laurel crowns. The circlet is slighter larger, and both have emeralds for the leaves, and the diadem has flowers made of various other gems, including corundum, beryl, and garnet.
Soldaer looks over and smiles. "I see you found your diadem, my love."
"My? THis is... beautiful..." She murmers, looking over at him
Soldaer smiles. "Not more beautiful than you, my love." He says, his eyes turning almost pure gold. "It'll look perfect on you."
"Awww, thanks sol... i... i don't know what to say." She smiles brightly
He smiles. "You've already said all that needs said, including the words I've wanted to hear from you for far too long, my love. I think only one thing remains: should we wear them during the ceremony?" His eyes are still practically glowing.
"Hmmm, well if you want it to be formal." She says,
"I was thinking small, but relatively formal. Nothing quite as grand as Phantom's."

He has pale, mint green, hair that is cut short. He has bright silver eyes that reflect like little pools of molten silver. He is muscular and seems like he could even the heaviest of weights. He wears a black tank-top that is tight around his upper form, a green army jacket with darker camo-like patches and decorated with silver buttons, long black trousers that are coated with thick layers of dust and other substances that make it seem like they are part of the trousers make-up, and thick black boots that are equally coated in dust and dirt. He wears a white eyepatch over his left eye that seems to be stained with deep crimson blood but doesn't seem to bother him.
He sits at a booth, groaning as he does.

"Im just helping to move things. I have no need of anything currently. Who are you?"

The snakes tilt their heads "Is that meant as a sort of joke, or an actual compliment? It can be... A bit hard to tell with people,.sometimes"
"Its genuine. Some may dislike the snakes, but i've seen a lot of different people in my times. Beauty may be in the eye of the beholder, but i still think you're pretty."
She bows her head slightly "Thank you. You are as well, Ms. Nia"
"Aww, thanks shardia." She says, "How about you come have something to drink, since you're helping Sol with moving"
"... That sounds nice... But only if youre sure.."
"Of course i'm sure, why wouldn't i be?" she asks, taking her hands and pulling shardia inside
"Well... You only just met me. And most tend to be cautious around those who are 'monstrous' or cursed. Its... Nice seeing someone who isnt, though"
"Pfft, monsters. I'm an elf, you're a medusa, only difference is our hair style at that point."
She smiles a bit "What do you know about the medusas curse?"
"Hmm, if legends are believed, anyone whoo looks you in the eyes turns to stone. either that or its just the hair sneks."
"The eye part is true, but only if we will it. You can look me in the eyes, and be completely fine, unless I willed you to be petrified. However, we cannot control it if looking in our own reflection."
"So mirrors are bad, got it. Will be careful where i take you."
".. Thank you. Have you ever had any sort of curse before?"
"Hmm, i can't say i have. Unless you count my lo- wait, whole medusa thing..." She says, "THough, you certainly aren't ugly, far from that."
".. Thats very kind for you to say. Your lo?"
"Looks... was a joke you see," She says sheepishly
She smiles a bit "No need to worry about offending me. Centuries is enough time to come to terms with the curse"
"Alright," Nia smiles, patting her shoulder, "You really are beautiful, that part wasn't a joke."
"Thank you. You really are very kind"
"No problem. Now, how about a bit of food aswell as something to drink?" She says, pulling shardia towards the kitchen
"If youre sure. Though nothing alcoholic. I try to stay sharp as possible."
"THat lowers the options, but still got a good amount to drink that you can have as non alcoholic."
"Alright. Ill just take whatever would be the least trouble for you"
Nia smiles, "Nothings much trouble for me," She says, getting shardia a glass of juice
She takes a sip "How long ago did you arrive in the tavern area?"
"A couple weeks ago," Nia says, sipping her own glass of the juice, which has a very tangy taste to it

Her hair was short and puffy, as well as a similar color to her horns. She wore a red, velvety-looking longcoat with a black undershirt. She wore some form-fitting deep red leather pants and some very nice cuffed boots. Strapped on the inside of her coat is a whip, a hand crossbow, and her quiver of crossbow bolts, but they were out of sight. On her back is a pair of large, bat like wings, matching her skin color.
