*Eh, might as well post here since I'm looking through.*
A 3'2 short figure walks in, they have a short, grey hooded cloak over some leather armor/clothing. Currently, her facial features are hidden, except for some big, green pointed ears poking out of some ear holes in the hood as well as the darkness in the hood slightly glowing yellow.
*Oh, boy, everything is dead today.*
She walks over to the bar and drops some money on the counter. "Food and drink." Her voice is extremely hoarse, as though it's been a long time since it has been used normally.
The vampire in the corner looks up.
"What are you known by, little blood ba- little humanoid?" *I know, right?*
She looks over, slowly taking off her hood. "Zylna."
"Nice to meet you, Zylna. I've heard you're short on funds; I'm willing to take care of your financial troubles in exchange for information."
"On what?"
"On anything. I work for an organization that collects knowledge. Therefore, I will pay you for anything you tell us that we do not know; the rarer the piece of information, and the more ways it can be applied, the more money it is worth. We can start with your story, if you like."
"My story... isn't a story. It's... a short summary. Nothing worth anything." She slowly sipped the cider she was given.
"All information is worth something. No matter how small or large, information is the ultimate currency."
She drew a dagger from her cloak and looked at her reflection in it for a bit. "I was like this... a tool for killing. Under the control of my... owner." She said the last bit with disgust. "Much like this, he forged me into his perfect hidden blade, his personal assassin. I spilled much blood, some of it my own, for him. One day, a bit more than a week ago, something in me broke, and I escaped, slicing his throat in the process." She put the dagger away, then held a hand to her cheek. "Though... I still can't change the way I was forged, I can't get the urge out of my head."
The vampire's eyes glowed a faint green throughout that, but it fades as she finishes.
"Interesting. What was your owner's name?"
*Insert frantic thinking right here, since I never thought about that until now.*
"... Nero Omerin."
*Good job, 0verkill, perfect name.*
"Interesting. And his profession? I assume it was something criminal?"
"On the surface, he was just an average stupidly rich guy, but he was actually a -cough from raspy throat- slaver."
"Interesting. Nero Omerin; profession: slaver; status: deceased. Here you are."
They pull out three platinum pieces.
She eyed the money hungrily, albeit slightly suspicious. "That... was it?"
"Hmm? Oh, yes. If you want more, I would be open to more information. However, since that did not dive into specifics, such as the targets he had you take out, and the people he sold slaves to, this is all for now. If you have more information, we always have more coin."
They set the platinum down between Zylna and themselves, and go back to drinking the Bloodwine.
She grabs the money carefully. "He rarely had me target people of important standing, the most important was a chief of some guard group that was catching onto his operations. Other than that, it was mostly small competitors or escaped slaves or to orphan children for him to target. I was never around whenever he sold them off, so I don't know any names for his buyers."
"Interesting. Anything else, such as the city/cities where this mostly took place, whether he was associated with any organizations, etc.? Essentially, anything else you know of import?"
They toy with another platinum coin, rolling it across their fingers.

"He owned a mansion that lied outside of a small town, I believe the name was Kerm, and he targeted it because of how small and unimportant it was, so he could abduct people easier with less suspicion, and he was his own organization kind of."

They toss the final platinum onto the table.

"As I said, I'm under orders to observe you, in case of a... relapse. In addition, there seems to be no shortage of interesting people and stories here, and my organization collects information, as I was telling Zylna."
