Aunt Griff makes her way through downtown New York in a cab, reviewing the notes for the upcoming trial. She would be defending Geoffrey Malts, a known serial killer. A difficult case, but not impossible. Especially not with her handy potions in her case. She pats it to make sure they're still in it. Nodding, satisfied, her mind drifts to the other members of her old coven. She wonders where they are these days. Probably not living in a penthouse suite; no, she was always the smartest of them in business acumen. She smiles, and the illusion slips momentarily, revealing gnarled black teeth in her mouth. Quickly recasting the illusion, she goes back to her notes.
Grannie Foxglove calls upon her sister
What is it now, Foxglove? And don't you know how to use a phone? You need to move with the times. I have an important trial coming up, so make it snappy.
Don't treat your elder like that, i have lived longer then you. I live when i want to live and where i want. I'm quite sorry you live modern civilization but some of us like older times.

Don't forget you still live in a literal swamp, while I own a penthouse. Now, what was it you wanted, Grannie Foxglove?

Griff exits the courthouse and rolls her shoulders, sighing contentedly. She absentmindedly taps the now empty briefcase as she walks towards the train station.
Getting on the 4 o'clock train, she sets off for the place where stone becomes land.

Griff stretches, yawning slightly. Smacking her lips, she glances out the window at the shadowy station in the middle of nowhere. This was her stop.
Walking off the train onto the station, she glances around for Foxglove or some other coven member.
