"Helianth... a reference to the Helianthus genus? Quite on the nose, but some things don't need to be subtle. It's a beautiful name regardless." He takes a glance at the covers of the books they are reading.
All of the books it holds- every single one- are somehow related to this realm's Sun: Astronomical measurements of its temperature and size and distance, books about different types of stars and nuclear fission, tomes about the realm's deities with thorns as bookmarks on the pages of sun gods, etc. "On the nose, perhaps- but, for the purpose of a name, it works well enough. I take it 'Lord of the Fries' is rather literal as well?" It inquires, absorbing the ambient glow of the library's arcane lighting.
"Indeed." He grins, as if he were in complete control of this situation he obviously has zero control over. "I have a bunch of different jobs, but I got my title back when I was a mere fry cook. Now I manage, advertise, and have a bunch more fun stuff to play around with. They give me the money to build just about anything these days."
Its main flower head tilts slightly. "...Build just about anything, you say? How curious." It begins to pace around him- not in a tight circle, but moreso ambling in a general loop- now with all of its flower heads fixated on him. "You know, I've some experience with building things myself."

They calm down a bit when they see the big cat. They seem to be endeared by her, despite her being able to rip them to shreds with all likelihood. "This (GP)er is encouraging the slaughter of innocent animals. Take a look." The woman in the horse mask holds out a flyer with an advertisement for a double bacon cheeseburger. Max starts to rise from the ground as the man with the chimpanzee mask pushes him back down with his sign. "Look, we're not supposed to be here, but this guy has promoted the industrialized killing all sorts of critters. You know what they do to animals in those factories? And he just profits from it."
"I'm... just the mana-" The man in the chimp mask shushes him. "It's not your turn, killer."
He nods slowly before putting a hand on the shoulder of the chimp masked man, the spots on stony skin and strange cracks shifting slightly, as the person feels a strange feeling on that shoulder, gravelly "You know it's not good to harm anyone for creatures that would kill you in an instant. For animals like her," He gestures to his lioness companion, and then his voice goes cold "Or like me." He then squeezes, the shoulder now stone shattering under his inhuman grip.
Chimpmask screams and falls to the ground, not in pain, but just overwhelmed with terror. Horsemask jumps back as dogmask draws a knife takes a step or two back, holding out a hand as if to hold back the man and the lioness. "T-there are no bad animals, man! You've got a companion, you should understand this!" Max slowly rises from the ground, stumbling as he tries to gain his footing. He takes the one-armed man's chimp mask and puts it on, ignoring the terrified teenager he took it from. He stands up, silent but assertive, a far cry from the nervous, frail man he was a moment ago.

Samaritan is outside. He is talking with William, discussing the plans to purchase cooking utensils for the Red Plate. Samaritan is offering to take him to places in hell where he purchased his own tools but William shrugs and shakes his head.
Father Luciano is outside, despite the cold. He holds a spear on hand, protecting the church. Recently, some shadows have been trying to get into the church but he has so far stopped them. The arcane sigils over his body glow bright blue.
Doctor Gigli is in his office, humming to himself as he writes a few letters to local townsfolk who need to pick up their prescriptions.

He waves back at them, approaching slowly. "Hello... do you know... anything about.. this.. town?" he says in broken speech, pausing in between, appearing to taste the words to see if he said the right thing. Clearly his language is not English.
He tilts his head at them, before saying "Nope, arrived here today just the same as you. Do you know any other languages, because I might be able to make things easier." He says, beginning to repeat it in Draconic.
His eyes light up in recognition as they speak Draconic. "I appreciate your multilinguistic ability. My name is Toothless... It is nice to meet new people."
He bows deeply, smiling at them "Oh but of course, it is the least I could possibly do. Nice to meet you too, everyone calls me the strongest primate highschooler, as it were. You can just call me Darius."
He beams, a big toothless grin, as he said before. "How nice. Darius. A name I've not heard before, but is not unpleasant. Who is this little lovely beside you?" He asks, gesturing to the lioness.
The Lioness roars at them, before turning away, embarrassed "Oh, I haven't seen them react like that around many people. My companion in hunting, I don't mind your name either."
*back from being a dissapointment, but alsoi made cookies.* He offers out a clawed hand for them to sniff, smiling. "They are adorable. What do you hunt, If I may ask?"
*You aren’t a disappointment, I love you and I love cookies.*
They do sniff the hand warily before returning back to Darius’s side “I hunt whatever we need to survive, hide for clothes, meat to eat, my life is luckily not a complex one.”
"Indeed." He grins, as if he were in complete control of this situation he obviously has zero control over. "I have a bunch of different jobs, but I got my title back when I was a mere fry cook. "Ah, that certainly sounds like it'll help narrow the location down. There's only so many cities that were destroyed by something along those lines." She produces her notepad and pen from her coat pockets, writing details down.
Omori doesn't immediately notice what the spell was for, and is about to ask about such, when the raven speaks up. "Ah, it's that spell again. Now then, what is it you wanted to ask?" It almost seems like the bird is used to being conversed with through magic. Omori audibly gasps upon hearing them speak, lighting up with pure wonder.
He feels at himself as memories come back more and more "It... had my exact build... super human strength... a thirst for combat and bloodshed... but all my memories... they don't feel like I was looking at it."
Merabelle softly pats the birds head "An' here I was gonna put you in a stew an' eat ya right up. What's yer name little bird, you've got a new friend that wants ta know." She says, leaning her chin on her palm.
KK is silent for a while. "That... that certainly complicates things. Though, it does also narrow our search a bit more. I imagine with a little research we'll be able to find that city and help get your memories in order in no time at all." She keeps taking notes.
"I've had a few names from past summoners before, but I'd say my favorite was... Amber, I believe it was." Omori is silently listening while she takes another sip of broth.
