"Do not feel sorry for me, Herr Aonghus. I am purified by pain. Purgatory has given me much time to reflect on my crimes. Gods above, I have killed so, so many people. I like making my medicinal sweets a good deal more than murdering those deemed unworthy of the gift of life."
He grins, tail wagging "I suppose. Still, I am sorry for what you have gone through." He nods and tilts his head "Are you stuck to that side only?"
"I've never tried to leave. I'm ready to leave now, but I'd need some help from wherever I plan on going. I've carved out a nice life for myself here in the Garden of Torment. I'm not sure what will happen if I leave. If I had any sort of assurance that I'm not falling prey to a devil in disguise, I would happily move on."
"I can try and help!" His tail wags harder "I-Im a Cleric of Life and the Living! I have tried to.. raise.. a few corpses before.. but I allowed them to rest again!" He grins "I know how to build bodies. It's really sticky and icky but I can try!"
The apparition stands up. "I actually still have a body. I was mummified in honey at my request. I could lead you there if you truly wish to resurrect me."

"Do you wish to be resurrected? It's all about consent of the spirit I am afraid." He twiddled his thumbs.
"I killed a lot of people. Collected taxes from lepers and prostitutes. Turned bodies into glue. I did some torture here and there, but I really, really didn't like it. Technically, everything I did was both legal and official, but possibly I'm still 'damaged goods' in the eyes of heaven."
<Holy [1gp] dude! All I ever did was kill a few murderers and sell drugs! How‘d you die?>
"Herzinfarkt. Sorry, heart attack. My love of sweets, good drink, and fine food did me in. Or possibly I was poisoned. Executioners were not well-liked in my time. Probably not in any time, really."
<Yeah… so when you died, you turned into a candy ghost knight? That… well, it actually lines up pretty well with thri-kreen religion. So will you ever pass on?>
"Funny thing, I chose this form. I collected bees down there and put them in my chest, where they built a hive. I was originally a normal denizen, but now I am... slightly more. Some angels have harassed me for a while, along with the concept of death, but I don't know where they want to take me. I believe in the gods... but I've seen demons masquerade as angels before, and have killed many of them."
<“And no wonder, for Asmodeus disguises himself as an angel of light.”> Pch’Ptah recites, then sits for a while. <…I wonder what’ll happen to me when I die. Where do you think I’ll end up?>

"It would be nice, but it isn't incredibly important to me. It would most likely be better than purgatory, I admit."

Fischer rubs Aonghus behind the ears.
"I would gladly enter the material world once more."
Aonghus makes a happy noise as his tail wags so hard his entire lower half can't stay still. He nods and stands tall, hands on his hips "I will do my best for you!"
