"Hey, I wanna show you something, c'mere sit down."
He walks over to his next to her, his chest glowing softly, a bit of warmth coming off.
*I swear its not what you think it is*
She begins to untie her tunic, smiling down at Damian. "Oh look at you, little glowstick~"
*Hmm, you sure?*
He raises an eyebrow, mock offense on his face “From a dog to a glowstick? I really am nothing more than a good time to you.” He says jokingly.
*not yet anyway* From a pocket between her undershirt and tunic, she pulls out a small, brown leatherbound book. The pages are dishevelled on the edges. She sets this on the counter before retying her tunic.
*Hmm. Okay.*
He looks to her tunic and then to the book, a rather large bit of confusion of his handsome face, not exactly understanding what the books is about, but expecting her to explain farther as to what lies within.
A man with a broom is at the counter, the broom resting on his shoulder as he drinks from a bottle. His traditional cloak open, revealing his chiseled chest, his eye’s pupils strange shapes.

"And you thought you were gonna get some melons with your cake. No, this book-" She says while turning it over and opening it. the face of the book is... a face. "Has very special instructions for removing curses, and even deals with spirits, demons, and a few gods."
He coughs as she calls him out on what he was completely thinking before seeing the book’s face “Oh, one of those. I don’t think I’m stupid enough to start making choices with one of those in my pocket. That is something I try not to get caught with, but if you want me to try.”

"Maybe later. Uhh, well, I was kind of thinking... we could read this, and see if it has any mention of the god who broke you... sounds like a book, or a movie... The God Who Broke Me..."
*please get the reference*
*Unfortunately I don’t.*
“Well if you want to read it with me I’ll try to pay attention to the words. Maybe we will find something that might actually be able to piece me back together.” He picks up the book, putting it into his cloak as he goes to check on the cake.

"Well, I was told not to read it aloud..."
*Nothing.*
“Well then we won’t, we can just read it together on your recliner.”
