He finds scratch marks on trees.
Taking note of this, the Larry stands and heads toward the Red Plate to investigate further.
As he enters, the kitchen is bustling, William is in the meat cooler, removing skin for a roast.
They look around, blood and saltwater slowly pooling below them.
William sniffs the air at the wrong time and snaps his head to look at them.
*siiiiigh my boyfriend (/j) is gone RN so I don't have anybody to respond to me.. soooo!*
Saphuno is busy cleaning the kitchen Jax is walking the coast line Reese is asleep in the corner, curled up like a cat (very strange, as she is of canid blood)
Klei is invisibly pickpocketing people near Reese.
The scent of mischief wakes her up, and she begins to search for the scent, tackling Klei to the ground, her knees on his stomach, handpaws on his chest
“AGH!” The shortsword falls out of Klei’s hands and he becomes visible as he collides with the floor.
She snickers, sitting up, all her weight on his stomach. "I gotcha! Hmmm... what do we have here? *I dont remember what klei is*"
*He’s a half-elf, but in his world the term half-elf is quite derogatory and most people refer to his lineage as “esshiri”)
“H-how did you see me??” Klei is very uncomfortable.
She claps her paws together rapidly, letting out an excited giggle "Thats the fun part, I didn't! I smelleded you, Esshiri!" Sensing a bit of awkwardness, she reluctantly gets off of him, looking down at him with wonder, a slight blush on her face.
“…” Klei has no words within him. He gets up and brushes himself off. “But… why did you tackle me?”
She rubs her chin for a second.. her tail swaying back and forth a few inches, slowly. "I don't knows. I just smelleded you doin' bad stuff and wanted in."
*'Bad stuff' to Reese is a lot of different things, ranging from dishonesty, cheating, stealing, killing, and many others. She's basically a sin detector.*
“B…but how????”
"I don't know how I smells the stuffs, I just sniff" Reese says, quite confused on his confusion
“So is it, like, magic then?”
"I s'pose.. I learned it from my first master when I was just a pup."
“Alright that’s a lot of stuff I don’t understand and I’d love if you could explain.”

He remains still. "They still have seniority, but if they discriminate against you it's still a breach in company rules. Also, we have some other extraplanars that you'll have to get along with I'm afraid. An Obyrith and a Nightwalker. But they're relatively okay."
"Fah! They wouldn't dare touch a priest of Volsdadt! And even if they did, I have enough tricks up my sleeve to defend myself if need be. In combat or the court room."
She nods "I will try and have some semblance of self control and not attack them." She says, nodding.
William smiles "In that case, I would like to offer you a job working here."
"Thank you. I'll get you some papers to read over relating to company policy, then you can be on your way to a restful recovery."
The strugel squeals with joy. "Yes! Yes! I would love to learn from you! And getting paid for it would be a dream!"
She pulls away, a little out of breath. "That was much better~"
He leans back, his grin only growing wider “You should finish that cake before it spoils.”
She nods and pulls the plate in front of her, staring into his eyes, making every bite very exagerated, but mischievous.
He looks at her, wiggling his brows equally mischievously, eating a piece of his own cake,
She finishes the plate, sighs and leans back before patting her stomach. "I'm so fat.. that was so good.."
Damian shakes his head “You are by no means fat. You’re just… plump I’d say. And I have no issue with that.” He walks behind her, rubbing her shoulders softly.
"Mmm, that feels good..." She says as she groans from the pleasure of his little hands. There is quite a bit of tension in her muscles. Her cotton ball tail thrashes silently
He laughs softly, his little hands moving around the tension, pressing down on her “I’m trying my best, it’s the least I can do.” He kisses the side of her head “I care about you after all, and I don’t have much time.”
He waddles over to it and places his handpaws on it, turning it into eight silver pieces. "Must have been high-quality copper!" He walks back, offering the coins to her. "And thank you for your kind words. My species has primarily survived by being cute enough that the local giant population protects us from the abundant monsters nearby. We also pay them in molasses, but that's not really an evolutionary advantage."
*YES!*
She watches with great interest nodding slightly. She pockets the coins before crouching a bit lower. "Thank you so much.. that coin was driving me nuts. Anyway, I think that if you want protection, that pup over there might be the lass" Saphuno says while pointing over to Reese, who she thought was asleep and not sitting on Klei. The scene causes her to flush a litttle.
"Ah, don't worry." He smiles up at her. "I've got special training, and I'm heavily armed with a Strugel Knocking Rifle! Pow! And it's sweet dreams for ten minutes! We normally only use them on big game, but there are tons of monsters out around here!"
"Probably for the best, she's busy taming a whole different beast right now" She says, shuddering. She laughs to herself, and a little bit at *dead*ss forgot his name*'s words before picking him up by the crevices his arm pits make "I wonder how mad Damian would be if I brought you to him, showed you off. My new little helper!"
*Finally someone realized that no one knows this goober's name*
He giggles. "I can do anything! My dreams need no longer be dreams!"
