I actually have a ranger in my Icewind Dale campaign. They actually are very versatile, and it does help that they have a legendary magic item from a deck of many things.

When you think about it, dwarves would make good pirates. I got this idea from someone else who mentioned it on a thread about pirate races.

Dwarves are often consumed by greed for gold, perfect pirate motivation. They are small yet tough, which is great on a ship. And the beards. Every single one of the pirate dwarves can have a name like Blackbeard, Applebeard, Goldbeard, Saltbeard, Bloodbeard, Bonebeard, Hairbeard, Fishbeard, etc. Also, the burying of treasure could be taken to an extreme extent. They might find a lonely desert island, and bury a whole dungeon underneath brimming with dwarf and pirate and dwarven pirate traps. 

It does break the typical feel of dwarves, but it still holds true to their character and I think a pirate ship full of dwarves would be a fun enemy for a party to face. If only those dwarves could be persuaded to leave their holes. 

There could be a subrace, so it won't break the feel of them.

I honestly don't think the show was that bad and I don't get why so many people were so against it. I guess most people don't want to discuss it though so nevermind.

The formatting is a bit rough but that is always tricky.

Armor class of 40? As far as I know, this is impossible to hit. And even if you roll several nat 20s you are not likely to beat it.

If you ever want to use this, you will want to create a much weaker version that is possible to fight.

Oh, in gameplay it will have a weak spot where the ac is 5.

Dwarves do love to hoard their gold, but should we be interesting our valuables to dragons? Haven’t they been the enemies of dwarves for many long ages?

Indeed, they stole our gold and put it in a big mountain. We had to commission Bilbo and that took around half the treasury.
