Daniel claps his hand on Flint’s shoulder. “I think you’d make a great healer. And not all adventurers are heroes. Some of us are just regular people trying to do the right thing the best we can.”

'I guess so. It can be a good career move, if you can take the hits. And thanks for the compliment. Don't get too many'

Daniel smiles. “No problem. And I think it’d be a great career move.” He thinks for a minute. “How about this, Flint? How about you and I explore the town of YonStore tomorrow? See what there is to be seen, maybe check out an adventure or two. And you can show me around the sewers if you’d like. I’m sure you’ve made a nice home down there.”

'Certainly! It's a pretty nice town, lots going on, and I'd love to show you round my domain. I'd say I've got a nice home down there, but not too many agree. Maybe one day I will go on adventures, swing a sword, slay dragons, rescue princesses, make a fortune and get a statue of myself in the town square' He laughs, knowing this is not the life of the average adventurer and also very far removed from what he'd realistically be.

Daniel laughs. “That’s the spirit! I try to avoid killing as much as possible, but some evil dragons really do need to be slain.” He finishes his noodles. “I think I’m gonna go rent a room for the night. Why don’t you stop by the tavern tomorrow around mid morning and we’ll go check out the town and the sewers?”

'Very true! You go find a room at the tavern, and I guess I'll see you tomorrow.' Flint lifts up a drain grille and climbs down. He's pretty skinny, so can easily fit through the pipes. 

*Is this sort of OOC? Like, organising a future interaction?*

*Yes! I gtg have dinner soon so I figured this would be a great place to stop and maybe pick up again tomorrow or later in the week?*

'See ya!' he calls out from the drain, as he pulls the grate closed and slips down. Before long, he's back at his den, and has fallen fast asleep in his hammock.

*I'm in the UK so our time zones probably aren't completely matched up, but it seems possible*

Daniel goes up to the front desk and rents a room, then heads upstairs, unpacks his suitcase and goes to bed. He’s asleep in minutes.

*Oh ok. That’s fine. Well then next time we’re on at the same time and Flint isn’t doing something else we’ll have them meet up and go exploring. And Flint can show Daniel around his den and the sewers.*

*That sounds good! See ya!*

*Not a load I don't think story-wise. Flint has been in pretty much the same place apart from that he went 'home' to sleep, but now he might be out by the noodle bar again. A new adventurer named Daniel has arrived*
